Tapscott was not AFL standard. Absolutely agree. Boy in a mans body that dominates at underage level. Him and Strauss. Wasted picks. Seems we specialise in picking two ordinary high end draft picks at a time. Scully, Trenners, Dunn and Bate, Tapscott and Strauss, Tyson and Salem. Not one 200 gamer among them.

Down to one mate now eh, lol.

Sounds like Moonshadow, contrary to his stated aim of ignoring me has taken my advice on picking Green.

You gotta, but laugh and the Council inspector types here who critiiciize people for what they perceive as negative posts when in fact the only time they ever post is to critisize other posters.

Jon Ralph says Demons are effectively a basket-case team

Thanks Sue. Yes my memory was wrong. Negative No Critical Yes Positive Yes, at times, which is mostly ignored by the local council inspector types here who pounce on every comment where Club decisions are opposed. However, just remember I have been correct like others here in saying the Club and playing list is not good enough to win a flag for the 55 years I have followed it, with one exception, 1964. Further, for the record, I have never voiced verbal criticism at a game, ever. Have I been disappointed, yes, heartbroken, yes, laughed out loud, yes. So i do not care what criticism I cop here until we have ultimate success or at the very least become a respected Club. -
Will be a good player in 2020. No problems there. The question is was the investment a good one.

Positive proof this site is infiltrated by MFC employees and close associates. Gotta love the stable Board comment. That is a stable board that has overseen two decades of failure. -

To challenge my memory further. Did he spend time on Hird in that game PSD? -

I have apologied for my memory lapse with that game and will apologize to you too for any offence given. I was wrong, an aging mind but now vaguely remember hoping/thinking we could have gone all the way that year. I thought Troy was a future A grader and leader at the Club and would have been a 200 game player. a tragedy. -

You are completely right, my memory is wrong. Perhaps I was thinking it would motivate us to win a flag. Apologies and good research. -

Actually a lesson in how good Clubs have a positive energy and a success culture. Repeated failure is not tolerated. -
Agree, been underwhelmed from the start. Nice footballer, thats all.
-
Pretty good, i have jetta and Hibberd slipping down a rank due to age, injury and form but agree we have around 14 players on the list to the B- acceptable AFL standard currently. Blokes you once would have said are good AFL footballers. So still two drafts and first class coaching and development away from the big time. Anyone know if Buckenara has given ratings on Tomlinson and Langdon.

Off you go. But at your next Club you will learn what negativity and swift action really is if the Club you follow fails for more than a year, let alone over fifty. And what do you expect when some clown here says we have a stable board as a positive. wow, we have had a stable board for decades that has overseen and is ultimately responsible for decades of failure. Imagine being a shareholder in a company like that. -
Reminds me of a cold war double agent. Is he really working for us.
-
Magnificent thus far in his career. I am less critical of some about his disposal. If players spread from stoppages I reckon he win find them A Grade and well deserved.

Doubt it will motivate. Different group of course but I well remember the first game after the tragic Troy Broadbridge death who I thought would end up a future Captain.Sadly we put up little effort in that game. And so the band plays on. The power Clubs dominate and we remain homeless, win less and unable to attract the best talent on and off the field. -
The individual ratings of Buckys are pretty poor. Who do you think should be ranked higher. That is the point of the article and subsequent post based on where we are now.
