Happy to have participated but surprised by the lack of depth.

Great goal too
Terrible fumbles followed by a great, effortless kick from 50.

There is something in my MFCSS that tells me the word favorite does not sit well.

What a great win. But strangely, I have been more nervous watching this year.
We did many things brilliantly but there is one obvious area where we need to improve, and it’s not hard to do so...
We drop too many marks. Last night the regular offenders were Gawn, Lever, Jackson, Weideman (and probably others). Big guys who get their hands on the ball and don’t hold on. Our new boy, Petty, showed them how to do it. Well done Harry.

Ron Barassi and Hassa Mann weren’t too shabby either.

a sign of your passion and not your intent.......
Right.
And maybe can we can add passion to the intent and outcome debate.
Let’s see how Christian handles that one! -
Maybe the insufficient attempt (OOB) rule should be judged by boundary umpires? They are always on the boundary side of play so may have a better view. As well as less to think about.
Or if not, maybe they should be consulted by field umpires before the decision is made?
Something has to improve.
(btw, my auto correct changed by mistyped “umpires” to “impures”. Says it all, really.)

Forget Bedford. He’s not up to it and IMO, never will be. Remember, not every recruit is going to make it.

And now Joffa accused as being a rockspider (having sex with a 14 year old boy). It is definitely Collingwood's turn to rot away in the doldrums:
According to The Âge:
Former Collingwood cheer squad figurehead Jeffrey “Joffa” Corfe has been charged with two counts of historical sexual offending against a Melbourne teenager more than a decade ago.

What happened to be swung in a tackle 360 degrees without disposing of the ball?
That was never a rule.

To make it easier for umpires, players and supporters, I would change the rule so that a free kick is paid if a player has had a prior opportunity and does not correctly dispose of the ball in a legal manner when legally tackled. If the ball is knocked out in the tackle or dropped or misses the foot when it is dropped, so be it. Free kick to the tackler. The only subjective parts of the rule should be (1) whether the player has had prior opportunity and (2) how long the player with
this is the rule now, isn’t it?

Great to read the analysis. Makes a very welcome change from the Melksham can’t tackle, Brayshaw can’t kick, Goodwin can’t coach, umpires can’t umpire posts we suffer through.
