This could so easily have been us after last week. Disappointing we're not playing tomorrow but at least our boys aren't now at risk of being infected and in the same boat as Essendon. It would be good if they could bring forward the Geelong game so that we don't have to wait a fortnight between games.

With probably a dozen or so clubs wearing black & white stripes whilst being nicknamed the magpies throughout the different divisions of english football I don't quite understand why there's such an issue with it over here. I can maybe see the argument for all clubs having their own emblem / nickname for marketing reasons in a finite competition but not team colours. If clubs really want to embrace the modern sporting landscape they are missing a trick if they don't fully embrace the concept of away and even interstate guernseys whether there's a colour clash or not. Get the designs right and they've got themselves a very handy revenue stream. Unfortunately many of ours through the years have been awful. As a footnote I'm sick of hearing from Koch and McGuire as much as anyone. Ricciuto is not far behind.

Hi DJ. That might work if only two clubs conveniently don't make the cut. If however six clubs can't meet the set KPI's then the media revenues would drop significantly, particularly if one or more were from an interstate market, Port Adelaide being an example.

Considering that the potential consequences of breaking iso rules should now be burned deep into the frontal lobe of every AFL player their actions are beyond stupid and really disappointing. Hi MFM. I'm less inclined to take on board the words or motives of any fully grown adult that believes in a fictitious character. In regards to the protest I just think it was a risk that didn't need to be taken just as the greater community starts to come out of lockdown. It's debatable as to whether the protests in the USA would have made any difference to the dumpster fire that is Covid-19 over there right now but we, like NZ have a real chance to snuff it out completely.

Have to say my heart sank when I saw so many people effectively undoing all the hard work and sacrifice by the medical profession, in the political sphere and general public over a number of weeks to bring the situation under control. Surely there would be numerous other ways that a creative society could have made this issue front and centre without congregating in such numbers.

I'd have thought that it might be the highest category season ticket holders that would get first dibs at match day entry, then down through the membership tiers to GA or until our seat allocation has been exhausted. Not dissimilar to the finals.

She's our First Minister and arguably the only competent politician in the UK currently. Not that many people would argue mind. Barack would be next in line but his allegiance is to the Chicago White Sox I think and he also prefers to shoot hoops in his free time.
