  17. Yesterday was predictable. The simple facts are where transitioning a team with many new players. While you do this you’re simply not that good. We need to expect more of the same look at the Tigers. The atmosphere at the ground was morgue like. Is says to me most supporters are resigned to our fate. I have been in angry crowds ours yesterday was just pure acceptance and apathy. The final result may not be satisfactory but I will take that over a Mark Neeld loss. My frustration is not over individual games whilst we rebuild but rather how the team squandered 22 and 23 when we realistically could have contended. That bus has well and truly left. I respect Goody for the flag but he inherited a Paul Roos built team. He delivered a flag but again unlike the Tigers did not make the most of when we had the competition at our mercy. The true question is can he rebuild the club a la Roosy. To assess that you have to be in the inner sanctum but one thing for sure there are 17 clubs soon to be 18 trying to do the same thing with restricted trade and draft rules. Look at Clarkson, Lyon, Simpson, it an incredibly difficult task. I personally favour the Tigers model go and get the best young coach Yze and plough as many A grade youngsters you can. That what we need to do. The club need to start by getting the best development coaches in the business to support the head coach. They need to have defined metrics to assess Goody rebuild plan. He may well be the best coach around if so back him. I am deadset against bringing in an older experienced coach go for new ideas set trends don’t follow them. The decisions made on Goody will define the next 10 years let hope they get them right.
  18. Oliver complete stupidity
  19. Sitting at ground zero atmosphere. Suns switch and have loose players everywhere. Few time we go in just bond. Totally disgraceful
  20. It so frustrating the players carry the can. JVR in Port side yesterday probably would have excelled. Crucified in Goodys set up but the media just accept Goody BS. As Joh used to say talking to the media is like feeding the chooks. Next Goody will move to don’t your worry about that. His presser provide zero insight just platitudes.
  21. Goodwin is the master of motherhood statements. We wont waste a day or week. If this is the case why is our forward line so bad. Fours years no improvement. JVR is a classic example compare his leading patterns to Georgiades. That not on the player but the coaches. I wish the media drilled in on one area of zero improvement and held Goodwin to account. Gawn kicking would be a start. Petty complete failure would be another.petty can play what has happened.
  22. Yeah pretty simple lost us a game against Cats a few years back and been the same ever since. Love Gawny but it unforgivable for a professional.
  23. Absolutely he was targeted that ruckman who he grappled with tried to break his legs. If it Faicos free everywhere. AFL will do nothing.
  24. It just the constant repeat and rinse cycle. Unless there is change where going no where. It just always the same. Ball butchers.
  25. For three quarters we tried hard. Missing easy goals and umpire gifts shut the door. Fatigue was always going to drag us down.
