  1. Remember I had a yr 12 exam in 96 and I spent the night before tabbing JCP. On cassette. Stop rewind play. Lol.
  2. Still waiting for some Tool, AIC, STP, RATM, RHCP, FF, PJ, Clutch
  3. Epic. I was a tiny bit too young in 96-97 (missed Tools epic show at Festival Hall, Presidents, same place and that epic BDO with Nirvana, SG etc) and missed SG in Melb, but Caught CC at Metro where he played AS and SG and solo stuff (I think I had a media pass and have some photos somewhere ) and Audioslave but nothing compared to SG
  4. Epic decade of rock. Me, I think One Hot Minute is the RHCPs epic album, it’s ridiculous. What’s the cutoff date, does it capture Alice in Chains’s Dirt?
  5. Well, quite. Outshined too. This could get quite lively. who knew there was such an SG contingent here! did you see them? I was lucky enough to see them at GC Big Day Out in 2012. I’ll never forget it. We’d just moved to the northern rivers from Melb, and when SG came on, a summer storm rolled in with lightning and thunder as Searching started https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/soundgarden/2012/gold-coast-parklands-gold-coast-australia-13d14d65.html Kanye was an anti climax after that. just lightning, rain and SG. Epic.
  6. Good god that show was funny is it still on?
  7. Incredible album but nom de plume is the best, for mine. Having said that, DOTU is cracking. Tighter and Tighter a portent of things to come. Like Suicide Day I tried July SU Black Days Mailman Drown Me Limo etc
  8. Still brings tears to my eyes watching the last gig. Was saying goodbye. Heart rending.
  9. My favourite part of this game is Soundgarden in the ad breaks. Ch 7 or their OB/prod has a SG fan - they’ve run a few SG songs last few weeks including Outshined, Drown Me at least. a huge loss. Last gig. 🥺
  10. I’m in NNSW so unable to go unless QLD relaxes their border bubble in the next 2 weeks and somehow that gets me into WA. Assuming I can’t, my GFG ticket will be available. It’s either that or get a refund on GFG. Rather a Dees fan goes
  11. If NSW can mandate it for its I think over 100k workers with a bolshie union then this should be a no brainer
  12. I confirmed in writing as did Brownie they are not transferable. You can get a refund for the GFG portion
  13. Thoughtful and considered as well as quote articulate. It’s hard not to get very excited 💙❤️
  14. Get the sense Langdon isn’t a super blokey (read: footy clubbish) guy and is a bit more substantive
  15. Good kicking is good footy If tracc can kick straight / smarten up and we keep this up we should be ok long way to go though - can’t write the lions off ever
  16. Lot of shots on goal for us… intense game!
  17. If we can shut down Cameron we will win
  18. I can’t see any players in the Dees being “wantaway” yet. Jackson on the G&G podcast appears to love Melbourne (the city) - no rush to head home. I’ll bet this year has cemented he, Rivers and Koz. sounds like the culture at the club is a huge plus at present. players will be wanting to get to the MFC I reckon.
  19. gF guarantee not transferable
  20. Got on him at 8-1. Thanks Luke!
  21. -14. Been on board since 1984 (Grade 2) thanks to my best friend who was a very good footballer and a mad Dees kid (along with his family I think). IIRC the Dees played Macedon one year around that time at Macedon and one of the Dees players - I recollect it being Flower but might be wrong - kicked a goal which hit said friend in the head and knocked him unconscious. Will never forget that. I'd followed first the Bombers (don't know why) and then Bulldogs in kinder/prep/1 and ended up on the Dees for better or worse. Dad's been onboard since 1956 (he was born in 50) and took me to the fateful 87 prelim, and I took him to the run of wins in the finals in the late 90s and in 2000. He's in WA grey nomadding so should be able to get to the GF if we make it.
  22. I need the fonzi shark jumping gif taliban = this okie dokes! 👀👀📡🏌🏻🧨🤷‍♀️
  23. Yeo? Yes please
  24. Quite apart from an MFC flag, the greatest delight I’d derive from this is seeing Essendon out week 1 and Geelong out in week 2 in straight sets. Kcfu those guys.
  25. ABC footballer of the year, probably AFLCA….would have to be a very strong chance. Age Footy Podcast didn’t even mention Oliver - Bontempelli or Wines was concensus.
