Three years makes a difference
I don't think we can underestimate the impact Burgo has had both on overall fitness and on the injury list. Choco also seems to have had a really significant impact on the young boys and the foot skills of the broader playing group. and lastly Goody, three years of experience and growing as a coach can only be a good thing for the playing group (and clarry and tracc's interview on saturday certainly speak to that).

I love this man so much. The care and passion that they all have for the club is so special.- POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
We don't, we watch that last quarter and then we watch it again and again and maybe just once more for good measure!!!! Go the dees!!!!!!- POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Its the red hair, there is no other explanation, Clayton is such a jet!!!!- POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Tracc cries, I cry. I have never felt more elated, my love for this club knows no bounds.- NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
Bit of a shame that freo winning means that essendon stay in the eight. Essendon scare me more atm than west coast.- POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Our backline did look fairly shaky in parts, Steven May is clearly an incredibly important cog in the backline system. I thought Petty was outstanding, his trajectory of improvement this year has been quite phenomenal, deserves any and all credit he gets. and the Crustless quiche strikes again!!- Jack Viney Suspended for 2 Weeks

Well said Webber, unfortunately, those type of dees fans will always exist, he's been so consistent this year though I don't think he'll be going anywhere. So odd to think he was publicly on the trade table last year and no one wanted him. He's proved everyone wrong and its so good to see.- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
I honestly feel like i've chugged ten red bulls, how am I meant to get to sleep now????- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Oh and how about that gather and turn from bowey to clear the ball from d50, Taylor has unearthed another gem i reckon.- POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Luke Jackson is a genuine star, his performance was off the charts!! And Alex Neal Bullen, best game he has played in a Melbourne jumper, take a bow or ten!!! Up the Mighty Demons!!!!!!!!!- NON MFC: Rd 21 2021
I'm sorry but essendon winning still makes me sick.- Jack Viney Suspended for 2 Weeks
I'm a bit confused, all year it has been about the outcome and not the action, part of which helped to get fritsch off back at the start of the year. Collins was clearly fine, played the rest of the game and hasnt had any delayed symptoms in the days following the game. Big stitch up this.- Jack Viney Suspended for 2 Weeks
The comparison to Phil Hughes is completely incongruous in this case. A hard cricket ball travelling at 145km per hour hitting a specific part of one's head is completely different to a flat part of a forearm pressing over what looks likes the guys ear, cheek and neck. Phil Hughes wasn't strictly hit on the neck either, hence why batsmen now have stem guards on their helmets that cover that lobe below the brain. The fleshy part of the lower neck is still exposed with stem guards. Was it dumb, yes. Unnecessary, absolutely. Lacking leadership, sure. I'll stand with anyone in defending the safety and well being of footballers, however; Collins got up and played the rest of the game. That was the last delivery Phil Hughes ever faced. Try to avoid the hyperbolic comparisons.- Jack Viney Suspended for 2 Weeks

Rivers very lucky to keep his spot I'd say. If Bowey is half as good as his ranga brother clarry, i'm sure he'll go well.- POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Insta and facebook comments definitely vindicate this, although its more an anti dogs/umpire vibe then it is a pro melbourne vibe.- POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
Can someone please explain, I genuinely don't understand how the dogs consistently get the rub of the green from the umps. Everytime we got a run on, they got borderline free kicks that weren't paid both ways. This wasn't one or two contentious calls, they had 14 more free kicks than us and its happened all year. I think someone opened a thread about it but were there any compelling conclusions because i'm lost for words??- POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
misses in the first quarter really hurt in the end.- POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Indeed he did, I couldn't quite believe what I heard when I watched it, but that is classic Clarkson for you.- POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
In actuality, tonight is by no means end of the world. All we have to do is win next week. If we had won tonight but lose next week, we would find ourselves in third and if we had lost tonight we would also be in third. We keep first by the end of the round and we can keep it next week if we play some better footy. Just need a big response from the boys against gold coast. Come on Dees!- POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs Hawthorn
Goal kicking was shocking tonight, Brown, Brayshaw, Kozz, T-mac, fritta, Dogga. We had 8 more marks inside 50 so it definitely isn't connection, its conversion. - POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Geelong
