  1. Of course I’m happy we won and will be getting behind the freo boys tomorrow however I nearly put my hand through the wall (Clarko style) in that last quarter. Only Melbourne could nearly lose a game they should have had sewn up at 3q time. Two oppo goals and we get wobbly legs, that didn’t fill me with confidence. Still, go Dees!!!!
  2. Everyone here is playing out all the scenarios and just accept that we will smash essendon. Not so fast my friends, where has your mfcss gone???? does no one remember 2016 Round 2. I'm not even confident about beating essendon, let alone relying on other results. Please prove me wrong dees.
  3. If Freo help us out, it will hopefully go down as well so just need Hogan to have a day out next week.
  4. Does dogs % matter for us?
  5. Totally agree, if Jacko is ready though, does he come back in for Brown, I think he does. He would be seriously unlucky but i rate jacko's versatility over Brown's experience.
  6. Could you give a quick rundown for the none foxtel viewers? (no sarcasm, genuinely interested)
  7. Bit harsh on Viney at least on tonights effort, only one that provided any sort of good clearance work. I agree that he can sometimes be too much of a bull for his own good and for that of the midfield balance but there are other fingers to be pointed tonight, just not at him. agree on rivers, langdon and vanders.
  8. Absolutely pathetic, it was their for them and they couldnt perform against a substandard freo side. I've never been more mentally broken in my life.
  9. Absolutely gutting, every game this year where we have a goalless quarter, we lose. They have a mental lapse and switch off and it’s all over. why can’t we beat Sydney, just what the heck is going on. I mean we have the best ruckman and midfield in the comp and we lose the centre clearances every week. I can’t blame Goodwin for that one, Langdon should kick a goal from 15m out. This is why we are never taken seriously, because we are given the chance to stand up and never do, we always lose the games that we should win especially in a context like this. I am shattered.
  10. Absolutely shocking, I’m disgusted, basics have gone out the window. Usually a goalless quarter means a loss for us. Better respond in Q3.
  11. This is shocking, this is why we can never trust this team, we aren’t going inside 50 with any composure.
  12. I really hope chronic nervousness can be resolved, why am I never confident going into a game. I have no reason to be nervous and yet still I can't see us getting over the line. MFCSS is debilitating!! In all seriousness, I generally like the changes and think the team is in relatively good form. The four day break combined with some possible humid/hot weather might play a part but considering sydney are on the same level, no excuses can be made. Come on dees!
  13. Let's just hope a perth club doesnt snap him up five years from now. said this in the post game thread but he definitely reminds me of trav johnstone, good disposal and great composure for a first year player.
  14. Outs: Kozzie, Hibbo (inj), jones, hannan Ins: Bedford, Lockart, jetta, fritsch Kozzie really did nothing, he's going to be a star but he is still developing and will need some time before he can be consistent. Even then, being a first year player in a fairly rapid year i think it might be good for him to have a rest. Bedford is not getting enough love on here either, thought he was really good round 1 and deserves another shot at it. Jetta could also be a big chance for hibbo or jones. Spargo could come out for Corey Wagner but as some have mentioned, I think spargo did enough to keep his spot. Does anyone know how Marty Hore is tracking?, was really good last year and should definitely come in this week if hes ready to go.
  15. Does a Collingwood win help or hurt us, i know we should take our destiny into our own hands but in terms of the ladder, is this good for us?
  16. Very true, should have written successor instead. Obviously Melbourne winning has impaired my use of Grammar!
  17. Not sure if anyone else sees this, but young rivers reminds me of travis johnstone, really light across the ground and a good disposal. He'll be an asset to this club for a while yet and is certainly going to be Hibbo's predecessor when the time comes. (hopefully not soon though, hibbo was amazing tonight especially after coming back from that ankle roll)
  18. Didn't post last night because I was still too excited. That was amazing to hold on. Steven May - All Australian full-back Christian Petracca - Superstar Hotel - Trivago Up you mighty demons!!!!!
  19. 6. May 5. Trac 4. Langdon 3. Gawn 2. Salem 1. Rivers Oliver and Viney unlucky not to get votes from me. Viney did a great job on steele after half time and Oliver was a bull at the stoppages all day long. Richard Wagner was actually fairly good on return after being a bit fumbly early.
  20. Great point, but if goodwin is refusing to play him as a tagger, then he certainly shouldnt be played as a half-back flanker, winger, half forward flank. there are better people for those spots. therefore, harmes must go.
  21. A couple of Demonlanders have said that Goody has favourites which could very well be true however I don't really think he does. however, if Harmes gets a game this week, something is up. On his form, he should have been out of the side a couple of games ago. At the moment, he literally offers nothing imo. He's not being used as a tagger which i think we all would agree is when he plays his best footy. he has to get dropped this week. I really want to see young jordan get a go in his place.
  22. out: pickett, harmes, Preuss, tmac, sparrow in: bedford, jordan, gawn (if fit), brown, chandler
  23. Two major reasons we lost; Inside 50 to goal efficiency and defending kick ins. Granted the wind seemed to play havoc but the bulldogs seemed to adapt better I guess. But letting them waltz out of defensive 50 is unforgivable. this club kills me, builds up hope and then let’s it shatter, I’m starting to wonder whether there is something seriously wrong mentally with the playing group. Not taking a swipe at them but they just don’t seem to stand up when the pressures on.
  24. Can’t defend kick ins apparently. Way to easy to go coast to coast.
  25. What the heck has happened to holding the ball? Apparently no longer a rule. smh
