  1. Can someone give us the consensus view on final teams? Casey team article suggests Harmes playing, not sure if that's std or he's actually confirmed? Others thought Laurie would debut, potentially in place of Pickett, does that leave Tomlinson as Sub?
  2. Lost the game in last 5 simple set shots
  3. OMG Max 🤦‍♂️
  4. The HtB last week was a disgrace Much more reasonable tonight I think
  5. Schwarz on 3aw saying AFL can and should appeal, and that option is open to them Anyone know for certain if that option is actually open to AFL, I thought not...
  6. The finding accepted both players were contesting the ball, but then went on to say Cripps should have acted differently... The finding was flawed Can't say he was acting within the rules and then say... but... wasn't.... Tribunal error
  7. TAB just removed the game from betting
  8. Nope, the procedure is constructed to avoid being able to appeal endlessly or go to court
  9. Whole tribunal system is a joke, this just proves it Kade Chandler wants his 2 weeks back
  10. Carlton was out to $4.00 What will they come in to?
  11. If the "error in law" argument succeeds, will show the tribunal to be a complete farce
  12. The tribunal members charging by the hour or something?
  13. AFL Live Blog is so bored it's full of random news stories...
  14. Ffs, must be looking for an angle to let him off
  15. IIRC... The MRO/Tribunal/Appeals Board mechanisms protect AFL from these cases being take to courts and potentially having a court grant injunctive relief for a period of time nullifying suspension (IE wait until season over until hearing appeal) I'm sure Lawyers on here can comment with more knowledge than I on this matter. So appeals board is effectively last chance saloon
  16. Can we get a Cripps verdict update from Royal Pde?
  17. Anyone know who is sitting on the Tribunal tonight?
  18. Tipping mostly B But also mostly indiscreet
  19. Busted up experienced ruckman, with stress fractures...On heaps of coin Collingwood can only afford to fund so many players on other club lists... Hard NO from me
  20. Unfortunately, I think he may get off... Rioli comparison justifies attacking the ball and incidental contact, albeit heavy contact I feel it's one of those situations where a player knows they can attack the ball and have the added bonus of spearing an opponent, because that opponent has chosen to follow ball back into oncoming traffic I don't want Cripps to play, but would be arguing against a Demon suspension in same circumstances
