Have you seen the scoreboard? 14 goals, both sides, for the game. Three blokes kicked 7 of them...
It was one of those nights. Port weren't bad, actually, just couldn't get their forwards organized.
Last time I looked it was at the Adelaide oval.
Kozzies kicked 3 this year and Charlie has one. No where near last years pace.
They have been excellent at the 1%ers but the 90%ers come first - kicking goals, which adds pressure on its own.
And in defense of Spargo I think he is playing higher up the ground.
And No I am not calling for either of them to be dropped.

Spargo was terrific in the first half and always there with pressure and precise delivery in the last half. Boy, what does a player have to do?
Crumb a goal (and hello Kozzie)

Still never heard if the bloke who was involved in the Mitch Brown incident was cited
No.
Been described as a shirt front and not a hit. But really....

Tassie Kangaroos - send Norf down there and we try to mop some of there supporters by adding a light blue stripe to our white shorts.

As for the name, the Devils rings true, but there has always been conversation around giving due homage to their convict heritage.
We already have Collingwood, Port Adelaide and Freo

Yes.
I saw him at training and he led from the front. He seemed to be respected by the playing group.

In what way Jontee? I felt he was going to stay until being spewed up on by our current, bogan captain* in China.
*who I love dearly.
Well this is a Demonland fact (= just my opinion). From day 1 he did not look happy in a MFC jumper and did not involve himself in some of the programs set up for the new recruits. He seemed to be a loner which is strangefor a team sport.

I did however notice the increased interference in the centre and the marking contests.
Thats because he cant jump (high) - he is a grappler not a leaper (like Luke) and has been for some seasons.
Is he off to a slow start, I havent got a clue, am i worried, not really.

Good riddance
Yes with hindsight but at the time not so sure....
Frawley made the correct decision and Howe probably not....

Jeff Farmer??
Probably, but once Garry retired he was a certainty to go home.
Scott Thompson - yep; I remember his first game against us he almost followed the Dees players off the ground at half time.
Frawley and possibly Howe?

Their best shot was with David Evans but Golden Boy threw him under a bus. So let's bring back Golden Boy! Yes, go for it. I don't boo at the footy but if Hird shows his mug I definitely will.
I wouldn't boo Hirdy, I only boo in the context of the game being played.

Tom Scully says hi
Completely different. Tom had his future planned before he arrived.
If I was Jacko I wouldnt be in any hurry to sign a contract because every game he plays is pushing the $$$ up at the moment.

Spargo - well even Charlie would acknowledge that he has a couple of limitations (speed and long kicking two obvious ones). However he is the classic "natural footballer" -
Sure is. In the Cairns Disaster (from one who was there) Charlies shot on goal was excellent for the conditions - pushed it well to the right and let the gale catch it, which turned it left and straight through the middle.

If they insist on interviewing Stewie Dew I'm going to need a wider telly.
