  1. Possibly the same time the MFC is training.
  2. Advantages to whoever loses out of Cat and Woods, as they go up against a team with one day less days and coming from the West. (Addit: same amount of recovery days, reacted to LH's error.) Whereas if we or Sydney lose, we or they get a team coming of a day extra, although from the north.
  3. Will the MFC also send out the $5 raffle arrangements for Grand final tickets on the chance we get there?
  4. Last year was a good exorcism of the 1987 Hawthorn game and the curse. Looking forward to this finals series as I get to attend. Will never take a series or even a finals game for granted. C'mon Goody, his team and our players, get us up for a go at Back to Back. Exciting times for the MFC.
  5. I was there as well. Can't remember a thing about it. The shock of being done by Hawks in the prelim on the siren, has blanked everything for me about that year.
  6. I understand they are Blues fans. The rockers might be playing the blues.
  7. They could still end up having to face Sydney in Sydney.
  8. I think you've thrown yourself back in time to when the top 4 teams go into the final series and a bit of MFCSS.
  9. Better team than the bulldogs, and we have to listen the Bevo again.
  10. There is a good chance Geelong be complaining all summer long.
  11. I want the home game, so I can go and watch it.
  12. Would just rather play a travelling team.
  13. Woods get another close one. Wow, Carlton, would have thought they learnt how to ice the game. They panicked. Free to Mckay and I thought Ginniven blocked Saad from the last marking contest.
  14. Swans still need to get ahead by about 5 more goals. Stay with them Saints.
  15. Heard on ABC radio that it was a finger that got taped up.
  16. Stay with them Saints. That's the King, on target.
  17. The quarter finishes, they're having a good boo! Both teams would think it is about them. Perhaps they think a whip is better than a reward. It a boo-a-thon!
  18. Looks like Kenty has been named med sub, for the Sain'ts.
  19. Don't think the percentage matters. Now that they have won Carlton have to win/draw, if they lose then their percentage would drop anyway.
  20. Join a few together and call it the dumpster train. (More to throw out) All aboard the dumpster train!
  21. Would like to see him get a run late in the game and nail a couple of goals, that effect the percentage enough so we end up 2nd. Addit: have the med subs been named yet?
  22. They also have poor final performances in the back of their heads. We go in as the "invincibles". Hoping we maintain that confidence.
  23. I thought Goody always took his learnings, except for that Prelim when we got flattened. His approach was defence first, whereas Rutten appeared not to be working on the offence/defence transition game. I think, different styles.
  24. This was always going to happen, given this weeks drama, and how their season went. A strong list, plenty of potential, many believed they would get into finals at the beginning of the season. Some matches were poorly coached, and not much adjustment to the style of play. At times seemed to have lost the players. He really needed some assistance from experienced coaches, who was or is their head of coaching? You know, someone like Ricardson or Williams. His assistant coaches wouldn't be feeling too secure
