CASEY: Wild Card vs North Melbourne
Anyone know the team sheet for Casey today? Nothing posted on Casey website.

Looks like Colly will win against Tigers (VFL). Tiges in similar position as us, AFL playing today, so not all players available.

I'm over 60. If you work on personal development and search for freedom, you can find yourself, and dispose of the parental or societal conditioning that doesn't suit. Unlike our previous generations, information is now just a click away. We can have more understanding, with access to knowledge, than ever before in the history of us. Look what we do with it, rinse and repeat. Not many have time to discover, and experience, the simple and sacred, "being here".

I am not a father. I guess that is why I have time on my hands. Bit of a conscientious objector. Not wrapped with where I see society heading.

Oh, surfed around in the website, and it ripped me to the island of VFL match centre, which has the previous rounds game in replay. Thanks Tarax

No split, on my old LED.

A big game from Grundy won't go astray. Like the move of Jefferson to the wing. Gets his work load up, and gives us a different look at him. My guess he is an attacking mid, as I haven't seen him tackle with intent and consistency. We remain a strong and balanced team, go get 'em "Whitey". Desperation, pressure and holding the momentum, go a long way in "hard" games. A good experience for our youth. The build up can only set them up, for more to come. With the veterans offering leadership, poise and belief. Go Dees.

Bad scheduling again. Seems I will watch Casey on AFL live app and record the Sydney game, unless anyone knows how to watch a replay of the VFL games? Can VFL games be watched on replay?

Did the AFL actually schedule this blockbuster, Friday night footy contest, not too long ago.

Wow, that is not even seeing the glass half empty. You have poured it down the sink. Do you think we have the "Collywobbles"? Do you think that is on the minds of the opponents? If so, we have already won the psychological game. Much better at playing the "G" (hope we get a few games there), hurting from those losses last season, we are a very good consistent team, with plenty of game options and we play with muscle (first time I have seen this in many years).

CASEY: Wild Card vs North Melbourne
The following week is to our advantage, if Casey beat North. AFL get the bye, and those players that are underdone or need to prove themselves could get a chance, against the VFL Footscray team.

CASEY: Wild Card vs North Melbourne
Since Nth AFL play Saturday, the North VFL will have all AFL emergencies and others available, given that their AFL team is finished for the season. Can players who play a full game Saturday be available for the Sunday game? Their fans will also be able to be engaged. I would have thought, that the team above all the teams playing in VFL wildcard games, would get the advantages.

CASEY: Rd 22 vs Brisbane Lions
After the heartbreaking two point loss to the Brisbane Lions yesterday, the Casey Demons now find themselves in a do or die Wildcard Round clash. Finishing in seventh place, the Demons enter the new format alongside Collingwood, Richmond and North Melbourne. Casey will play North Melbourne on Sunday 27 August at 2:45pm at Casey Fields. It is a win at all costs fixture with the losing team having their season end. The winning side will continue into the traditional finals bracket where sixth place Footscray are waiting. McVee closed Breust down after his 1st quarter dominance. We played through their pressure. Love our backs (zoning and communication), if not May, then Lever in the air, the smalls try harder (especially if an error) and run straight at ground balls. Rivers is so important to breaking the lines. Melksham wants a shot at a premiership. Viney has been having a great year. We are playing the "G" well, and are ready for spring footy. Ran them off their legs, and forced turnovers. We get to walk into the finals in good shape, and with minimal have to win pressure (can afford to bring in an underdone Fritta). Sydney could be best preparation for us, offering a challenge, before we go into the bye.

I think he was as well. Looked to be staggering as he got up.
