Let's not forget the womens team who are doing us all proud at the moment and are a genuine chance to win the flag.

If the border closures continue then hubs will be required to complete the season and if so i hope it doesn't upset their momentum. And i expect the club to go into bat on their behalf to ensure we don;t get another raw deal like the men copped last year. I'll be very disappointed if we cop an unfair travel schedule while Carlton and Collingwood get a nice easy run to finals.

I don't think Collingwood  would  be as favoured as they have been since  Eddie stood down with hand prints in his back.

  2. Majak if needed could be used on some tall  opposition with experience  Has played some good games and kicked multiple goals where his best was 6 goals against the Bulldogs and 4  goals in an Elimination final against Adelaide 2016.  Mind you he has finals experience.

In a game against the Dees  in 2017 he had 18 HO and 7 tackles rucking against Max so he is no slouch  and he is  good insurance to have,  Dees lost that game by 4 points and  Majak played a part in the win.  Played 18 games in 2018.and 2019 of course  had personal issues however l believe he is worth the risk .

  3. lt won't be happening any time soon. However we need a Tasmania in the competition   You can be looking at an AFL club relocating  and l can't see any team wanting to relocate.

Fitzroy supporters lost their team and it is not the same for them. l wouldn't like it happening to this great club. Tasmania will happen in time but IMO it won't just yet . Hawthorn or North certainly not relocating IMV.

Maybe they can bring in a Northern Territory Team and play the team that has a Bye and not for points if a Tassie team is included.

That way they can build a NT team and not throw it to the wolves each week. Give it time to mature before it is also included in the near future.

It will then be truly recognised as the Australian Football League .

  4. Thanks for your great report today PF l like that Harmes is looking good and playing  some game time as a mid.

Vander's bone crunching tackles means that he is injury free and able to play in pre season matches. It would be good to see him involved.     LJ , Rivers and the young draftees in  Bowey and Lawrie They are our future and good to here they are doing well.

Agree. Petty looked very good up forward in 2019. Great hands, aggressive, straight kick. And then there’s Joel Smith!

Please !  Joel Smith Don't make me cry.  What makes you say that?

       Brain freeze........

  6. Weideman and Ben Brown sidelined  is not like we would like it to look for us . It's not  nearing the end of the season  we are 6 weeks away from the season proper.

For all it is worth to the critics of TMac he now becomes our most important forward. So we all hope that he brings his 2018 form to the park.  Thank heavens we kept Tmac and Mitch Brown as our security,

Tom covers the Weid for now and hope Ben is back by at least round 2. IMO.    Don't forget  Fritch,   Kossi   Spargo   and our draftees. There is light at the end of the tunnel yet.

Petty is a defender and has been training down back all pre season.

Yes dazz d 36  that is right with Petty however it doesn't mean that he forgot how to play as a key forward. He would hold up ok l believe.

  8. Injury has played a part in Tmacs' form slump since 2018 foot problems and a knee injury in 2019 didn't help and the confidence was low. Tom has put in the hard yards over the summer and has come back slim and looking fit which is a good sign.

He has his critics and it comes with the package however l rate him and l back him in with confidence. He has a few good years in him yet.

Tom coming back in good shape in what he has endured over the trade period  means he is ready to prove that he has much to offer our great club.  He didn't find a new home during the trade period because it wasn't meant to be.  He is a Melbourne boy

  9. I would rather be in front than behind at halftime. I say catch me if you can.  Brady the greatest QB  of all time and that will be put to bed for all to know,.

Patrick Mahomes poor first half  compared to a great first half by a 43 yo Brady.

The KCC will have to find something special to get up in a super bowl game, being 15 points behind.

ER, for the record, I came to this country in 1956 as a 6 year old from Germany. The abuse I suffered was physical and mental.  It was obviously racist abuse. Because I was so desperate to 'fit in' the racial insults became a part of my life. When I was thirty five, my best friend was a Jewish dude called Sam. He liked a drink. He'd turn up at my flat in Alma Road and tell me how bad he felt that the only place in East St Kilda he could get a drink was at a Nazi's house. Then he'd borrow my Primo Levi books. At least he returned them.

I understand where you are coming from dieter  because i bear my own mental scars from racial abuse almost the same period into the very early 60s and from people who should have protected many of us at school instead they were not any better. I won't say any further than that..
