Michael Hibberd Hanging Up the Boots
One of my favs. Thanks for the memories, Hibbo.

Farewell Mitch Hannan
Have watched this goal replay many a time. Still sends shivers down my spine. Will always have a soft spot for Hannan, he seemed like a great guy too. Best of luck to him and hopefully the injury is not career ending.

The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread
Totally agree. Does not get the recognition he deserves. Always gets praised for his hardness and for being a battler but that totally sells him short. Would be lauded a lot more for all that he brings if not for Trac and Clayton.

Taj Woewodin Set to Debut
I was thinking the exact same thing! Still got Woey senior's signature somewhere. My dad, who worked in the media, got it for me back in the day not long after his Brownlow win because he knew he was my favourite player at the time.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Sydney
So many players to get excited about at the moment. Rooey first game. McVee is such a classy user and moves so well (that little kick - run - receive off halfback yesterday). Chandler building. Fritta dusting off the cobwebs. Then you have guys like Bowey and Rivers who look in great touch. And then Spargs who does not get enough plaudits for what he does. Then all the A graders. We have so much talent at the moment. Bloody exciting.

Trade and Free Agency rumours
Can someone explain the Bowes deal to me? I know Geelong are doing the Suns a favour by taking on the contract, by why is there such a high pick thrown in?? Bowes isn't a spud so how on earth is it so heavily weighted in the Cats favour? It really does seem like a case of the rich getting richer and massively unfair for the rest of the comp.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Hey Freo, how about you give us what Luke Jackson is worth? How about that? We need to put a clause in player contracts that says you can't ask for a trade to Freo.

Port chasing Kozzy Pickett
I came to terms with Jackson leaving, but it would hurt much more to see Kozzy running around for a different club. I really hope we don't have to have another year of rumours and then a departure. Praying to the football gods that we can get him signed up.

POSTGAME: QF vs Sydney
Sydney were super efficient inside 50. Converted some tough shots. And then add in poor turnovers by us in defensive half and 50m penalty goals. Even Milkshakes slipping and Spargo's shot being smothered in what should have been a certain goal. In a close game these things count big time so it's not the end of the world. Sydney in top form. We just gotta be at our best next time.

God what a great game. Huge result. Loved seeing Gus back in the midfield.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Gold Coast
I know we've had a lot of very good talent come through in recent times, but I can't remember a player come into the team in recent times and be as composed and assured as Bowey. This kid is unbelievable. During the games now when the ball ends up in his hands I find myself breathing a sigh of relief because he just always does something good with it.

Ripping win! Great way to start the season. The ability to turn around a game when we're up against it is elite these days.

Bevo unleashes on Tom Morris
I know it's an unpopular stance but I was cheering Bevo on during that outburst. Tom Morris is a weasel and there's been plenty more before him that have come and gone. They get off on breaking stories with no regard for who it's affecting. Their only value is breaking stories and leaking gossip, and they eventually get spat out because no one respects them. Ask Mark Stevens how it worked out for him. He was doing Tom Morris' job before.

FLASHBACK: Bruce Goes Ballistic
One of my favourite players. Was gutted when the Dees offloaded him. We shipped out all our experience around then and suffered big time.

GAMEDAY: Grand Final vs Western Bulldogs
I might ask if I can join Goody on his car park lap walk this morning. Need to put this ridiculous amount of nervous energy somewhere.

POSTGAME: PF vs Geelong
Un-bloody-believable. Just an incredible performance. Refused to give an inch all night. Hearing the Gawny chant go around the ground was magic. Lots of red and blue in the crowd. It was great to see my fellow West Aussies get around us.

Gees Louise, feeling nervous AF this morning. I wish 5.50pm would hurry up and get here already.

TICKETING: GF vs Bulldogs
I would have thought this was possible yeah. You can forward tickets purchased through Tickemaster so I'm assuming once you secured the ticket, you can just send to their email and then he/she just needs to accept it. I bought a ticket for the prelim for myself and my gf via my membership, and also three general public tix for my folks and brother, which I forwarded onto them.

As another fellow WA Demons fan, it feels almost too good be true. Desperately hoping the inspirational power of Agassi and Giannis propels us into the GF.

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs GWS
The Fox Footy website: "Charlie Sparrow would be unlucky to go out of the side". Coaches have got a tough call to make, but I tend to agree. Spargs is pretty short so maybe we can get away with an extra player this week by having him sit on Tom Sparrow's shoulders?
