  1. Best outside mid can't be the guy that is the worst field kick in the team sorry. An being an outside mid doesn't mean that you traipse around for 120 minutes and not manage to find a single guy wearing black and white to maybe you know.. tackle
  2. For sure if Vanders comes back 100%. We need to be looking ahead to finals footy now and Vanders is the type of guy that is going to be handy in that environment if right. You can't play a guy like Angus in finals, he would be like a deer in the headlights.
  3. Sign up now on Jetta and Harmes. JKH is a delisting, Brayshaw a delisting or trade if you can get one for him, as we saw with Jack Watts clubs are not lining up to sign guys with zero aggression and that cant lay a tackle and Brayshaw is really another Watts without the foot skills. Wouldn’t mind seeing Vandenberg when he returns, he was going alright when up and running.
  4. One change I would like to see is to make it Melbourne V Essendon. With the whole MND, big freeze business now a tradition that would be a much more fitting tribute to Neale Daniher.
  5. Only problem I see with De Goey is that the dude can’t kick straight
  6. Bad news, Hunt is the most elite athlete on the list and through last years good form and this years bad form I have never once felt like this chap wouldn’t at some point be back in the fold. Would be incredibly frustrating and let’s hope he pulls through it and goes on to show how good he can be.
  7. 6/10 coming along Hogan has been unbelievable, likely leading the b&f right now and surprised with the way he has evolved this year Draftee has to be Lever. Frisch is super talented and could become anything but Lever is an A grader Best win v Essendon. They got us last time we should have win a flag so nothing is more satisfying than beating Essendon A few guys need to lift, in terms of the guys falling away I don’t think we can help them so will not get into that but in terms of talented guys I still want more from Hannan. He plays like a genius for 10 minutes but can disappear within games. Worst performance was the Hawks game by far, it was a complete [censored] I see us finishing third.
  8. Critical but fair. Hard to rate the Collingwood players, Cox was huge up forward, De Goey is strong in a contest but seems to have dismal disposal, Sidebottom seems to be the constant problem with excellent delivery and finds it a lot, he seems to be the one that needs clamping when you play this lot.
  9. Absolutely wrong, as I said aside from the centre bounces they were nowhere near each other, Brayshaw was standing around watching Oliver, Viney, Harmes and Jones bust their balls trying to win the game for him. If he really had of had a role he might have found the energy to lay a single tackle some time over 120 minutes.
  10. I’m not sure how many of you were actually at the match but outside of the centre bounce Brayshaw was never within 20 metres of Phillips so I doubt he was tagging him unless he is as blind as a bat.
  11. Disappointing day, not as bad as the Hawks game but let’s not use that as a benchmark. Last week the Dogs beat us up for a quarter over the ball but weren’t good enough to sustain it for four quarters, Collingwood didn’t really either over the 120 minutes but did more than enough to show the areas where we are falling short, we have a group of players who stand outside the pack waiting around for somebody else to win the ball and get it out to them even if there’s no other red and blue in sight and it’s their turn to go, these useless leaches are letting the rest do the work for them while they stand around looking for easy kicks. To the guys that put their bodies on the line today well done and thank you for trying to win in spite of the cockwatching leaches that spend their time hanging around for free and easy kicks.
  12. Disappointing day, beaten up on the ball so all you can really do is go with some of the guys that actually applied themselves and put their body on the line, not all did. 6. Tmac 5. Viney 4. Oliver 3. Hibbo 2. Harmes (That bump and goal was exactly what was missing from others all day) 1. Frisch
  13. In many years of watching the game I have seen elite defenders control back lines, Scarlett, Silvagni, Hodge, Rance have all done it many times but I have never seen a small defender control a back line like Nev did today. Big Roughead ran at him today a few metres from goal, Nev holds him up in a tackle even with a two feet high and 40kg deficit Roughy was going nowhere. Ball keeps coming in and Nev keeps sending it out, Lever off, Hibbo having the biggest mare of a game in his brilliant career but Nev keeps sending the pill straight back out winning every one on one along the way. This goes on all day then the ball is coming in to one on one Nev v Boyd, Boyd has height and weight all over him but Nev simply moves across unbalances Boyd and the ball comes to ground. These best small defender I had seen was Wanganeen but I dont think he could have achieved what Nev did today. Great performance and another guy who has been there through some hard times and deserves success.
  14. Yeah good call too. Fyfe is a Bull now but was as light as a feather when he first hit the scene.
  15. Good point. Watching the way he moves, clean disposal and how strong he is overhead reminds me of a young Robbie Gray. Super talent.
  16. The Dogs brought a really contested brand of footy for the first quarter and a half before they fell away, The class of Melksham and Frisch was super to watch once the game opened up but it was the players strong over the ball that turned this match around: 6. Jetta 5. Hogan 4. Viney 3. Harmes 2. Hannan 1. Petracca
  17. Viney is an unbelievable freak of nature that I would pay to watch every day of the week.
  18. Chook, I am the consistent glass half full guy not the guy that is ecstatic one week and threatening to throw myself off a building the next if things go pear shaped. We were generally good today but better sides will make you pay more for skill errors then the Crows did today.
  19. Fair call, Tyson has struggled for form this year sadly.
  20. Will be an easy one to fact check next week Danelska, if he gets a tag you’re right and I’m wrong - if he doesn’t you’re wrong and I’m right. Deal?
  21. Unlikely, his disposal isn’t good enough to hurt which is why he gets so much space. They are more likely to try to stop the flow to those outside types.
  22. Yep, Bernie basically made him invisible.
  23. Still some bad casual footy type errors today and a few that still have opposition players walking through them in a tackle mixed in with exhilarating passages, room for improvement but going in a great direction.
