  1. i hate to pot Trac, and he is a liabilty in front of goal... for the sake of drama - a la, bugg.
  2. it amuses me the love for Tyson from BT... he is McAvaney-esque in his love for Cyril.
  3. that felt like, what most teams do to us out the back...
  4. Just looked up the remaining matches - I'm locking us in for a 10 win run from today and then a 2 losses at Geelong and Adelaide another 2 wins and then a loss in WA against the Eagles and a final round gala match v GWS at the G. Anyone else share my optimism?
  5. My question to the FD is what steps would be taken today to counteract, the quick ball over the high press, that the saints in particular seem so good at achieving against the dees at Etihad over the last 2 years (irrespective of our wins).
  6. Here's a great stat's page by a funny bloke (not me) - for those thinking we SHOULD win by 6 goals or more, this may put it in perspective. I personally think it'll be within 3 goals on skill - and then more than that due to mental fragility (on either side). https://plussixoneblog.com/post/round-7-afl-mens-preview/
  7. Hunting down all those quotes reminds me of this
  8. I do it, by not hovering my cursor over it and not pressing the button. In all seriousness, I don't think there is an automated way of doing so. The ignore person one is magnificent however.
  9. Did you really need to pitch it like that?? Just put it on ignore if it doesnt float your boat, without being a [censored] about it.
  10. it's almost like you want him to go down...
  11. he was amazing, heard him interviewed on SEN - twas stifled by back injuries.... what could have been, with schwarz, farmer, neitz, lyon.
  12. Personally I'm not worried The FD department value him There is no go home factor Players are inherently loyal to their mates ... Players ultimately want success, and would rather do it with established relationships.
  13. Sounds humble, sounds coachable. Great interview.
  14. I really really agree with this and have said it since the inception of the song. If you're familiar with the song, it can give some good goosebumps when it kicks in... it does not have that now, so for the fans...it's not as 'intense'
  15. I'm lazy, so can't be bothered looking at stats, but eyeballing Clarry's games, he's clearly and understandably had a lot more attention paid to him... thus I feel he has plateaued with his influence. So, what I am wondering (hoping) is that when Viney comes back it will free him up a bit more...is this an accurate assessment. It reminds me of Judd, who was surrounded by Cousins and Kerr - top midfielders who also allowed him to get off the leash.
  16. this'll pump em up. also, the song as my body goes up in smoke at the crematorium https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mML2fPec7xU
  17. Controversial topic... looking forward to some flaming.
  18. Are you Tim Smiths mum @chook fowler?
  19. 100% - Jeremy Howe, is a poor mans Bailey Fritsch.
  20. harsh as [censored] pal.. you do know the ball is oval shaped, going roughly 30 metres a second...just sayin'
  21. So to make sense of this, get Lever now, best case for 2018, but really 2019 onwards ... so as Oscar will become the gorilla defender that we are after (a la Talia) - Lever will in due course fall back to a similar role... the McDonald, Hibberd, Lever alliance may be up and down as McDonald improves, fills out frame, matures in 2018, but this will be a pretty solid backline for years to come
  22. except for when he doesn't - a la spilt mark in defensive 50 when free...but that'd be me being a nit picking [censored] to prove a point.
  23. How's his leap - he is graceful...so so graceful. Close ups on TV looks like his arms would snap like twigs being broken by kindergarten kids...mind Floats like a butterfly and stings like a bee.
