Exactly. With Neitz and Robbo going down, and Juice going missing for most of the year, Bate has had to spend basically all his time as a key forward which is something he really isn't. I agree that he will never be a superstar player and he is TERRIBLE below his knees but once we get a few talls down there and he can play that HFF role he will be much better for it!

Because they either state the complete obvious or they are completely wrong. For example: To say Stef Martin looked "lost", yet Warnock "tried" is wrong. Not only is it wrong to say that Warnock tried but Martin didn't, but no backline would have stemmed the flow today. Did you put this into perspective? Obviously not. Same goes for the forwards. You get stuck into Newton and Bate, yet the disposal to them was TERRIBLE all day. What do you expect them to do? Forwards rely on good deilvery and even though they didn't get it today, both at least made an effort to provide a contest, Newton especially. Again, no perspective. Sure they didn't get much of it and they only kicked a goal each, but they didn't exactly get decent deilvery. At least you got stuck into our midfield, which as always was horrible. That's because they are one of two things: 1. - They have FAR too much time on their hands or 2. - They have nothing better to contribute. Every board has them.

His side is far more realistic though. We are NO chance to get Brown - why in the world would he play for us anyway? If we "stuff" the 5 year plan we may end up making the finals, flopping, and then being rubbish for years to come.

We SUCK at AAMI no matter what side we send over and this was no exception. I had no expectations for the game and we played exactly as I thought we would. It's just another game for some of our young kids and we have one more game before Bailey gets to cull the list, gain some more quality kids and look to improve in 2009. You guys were kidding yourselves if you expected us to play any better today.

They are running the ball far too easily out of defence. No pressure at all. Thankfully Freo can't kick straight. Apart from Miller our forwards an ineffectual today.

Without McLean, Green and Moloney not there a guy like Jones can't handle the extra pressure yet. Need him to step up in the middle and win us a few clearances in the third quarter! 2nd term was pathetic but there is still a half of footy left!

Even if we don't land Judd I think TJ could be traded to Sydney for Pick 11 anyway. It sounds fair to me and we can land two very good youngsters for the future OR on trade that Pick 11 for a ready made player. Either way I'm in agreeance with everyone - Judd needs to make a decision BLOODY QUICKLY!!
