  1. He was speculating. Seriously mate, you need to read things and pick up on what posters do on here a little better.
  2. Really? You couldn't see the sarcasm in his post?
  3. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-10-08/suns-optimistic-on-landing-seedsman-and-howe Sounds as though the Suns have legit interest in Howe... I guess that's not exactly ground breaking as they have always been linked, but this is the first time they have come out and stated their interest. If Howe does decide to go I'd be interested in what we could get for him.
  4. The press are taking the GWS stance of 'we will deal with anyone until a deal is done' thing and suggesting that all these clubs will try and trump the Pies to his signature. There is nothing in it as they would have had their chance to put forward their case all year... and he still chose the Pies. Unless the Pies decide to become tighter than a mermaids bra then he will end up at the Emirates with McChins.
  5. Or BOTH! Let's speculate in Demonland fashion dazzle.... Howe, Terlich, M. Jones and our 4th rounder for Prestia, Tom Lynch, O'Meara, Ablett and Swallow. I think we're paying overs but that's life.
  6. And so they should. Draft a bloke with their first pick in a draft and he bolts after 2 years. I hope they play hard ball and make the Pies cough up something good.
  7. I agree, although I don't think they would be ahead of others. Not much in it in my opinion.
  8. Carlisle is no A grader and he isn't a player we need. He can be an average player and the Bombers will want plenty for him. Clever of us to stay clear.
  9. Who? No, seriously.... Who?
  10. Possibly, although there is still plenty to play out. Getting Melksham might be part of a three way deal, or we get a different second rounder in return for a player we off load. Sounds like we are pretty close to the mark with what they want so we can't be going too overboard.
  11. With Aish requesting a trade to the Pies, and Treloar still probably ending up there as well, does that make our pursuit of Kennedy a little easier?
  12. I think you've answered your own question - he may well have indicated to us early that he has no interest in playing for us, much like Caddy and Taylor Adams have done in the past. The club have probably decided not to waste their time and focus their energies elsewhere. If the Saints are sniffing around though then I see no reason why he would go there over us. Wouldn't make any sense to me.
  13. I ended up getting the chance to listen in and yes, you're right. Nothing new apart from Melksham officially naming us as his club of choice, and it sounds like the deal will go through without too much hassle. Everything else was the same as trade radio but that's to be expected with trade week not starting until next week.
  14. I think you already know the answer to those questions...
  15. I know it's not Trade Radio but Josh Mahoney will be on SEN at 4:25pm. He'll probably go over the same stuff without any real updates but would still be worth a listen. If anyone can listen in and give a quick wrap of what he say for those of us, like myself, who can't listen in then that would be greatly appreciated.
  16. If Carlton, a team already losing Henderson and light on for key forwards, is allowing or even entertaining the idea of letting Casboult leave, then you would have to ask serious questions as to why. I don't think he would improve our team much at all.
  17. Forgot about him! Could very well be it. I was going to say Scott Selwood but I think they are saying that this player is joining them in the studio, and I can't see him flying over from WA for that.
  18. Apparently a 'big name' AFL star will be appearing on Trade Radio shortly to announce a decision on his future. He isn't a big star but could it be Howe? Or are we still waiting on someone else to make that announcement?
  19. We would all like to pair up our top picks and land a big fish mate, but the reality is that most, if not all, are off the table. Guys like Hartlett and Parker have either re-signed or signalled an intention to do so, while others like Dangerfield and Treloar have said they want to play at other clubs. If there is no big fish out there this year then the club needs to pour it's energy into improving the list in the best way possible so we are well placed in 2016 and 2017 to make a play for a bigger name. If there is nothing out there this year then there isn't much we can do about it.
  20. I'm impressed Steve. A well thought out response. That's good to see.
  21. That doesn't change a thing. As I said he is contracted and stated himself he has no interest in leaving. End of story.
  22. Sinclair is contracted and has stated he has no intention of leaving. Next.
  23. Fat chance. We're all dumb and stupid for not seeing things like him. He needs to tell us constantly, so don't worry, he'll show up.
  24. Great news. Roos, Goodwin, McCartney and the rest of the club clearly rate him. I'll take their views over the snipers any day.
  25. No one from Geelong made it on the list so this year I'm taking the 'it's a great list and everything is pretty much spot on' line.
