Hopefully it’s Collingwood.

Key Defensive Pillars
My issue with this is that it’s ok to criticise a player, but running a monotonous campaign is boring. You form an opinion, you let everyone know what it and leave it at that, it’s ok to throw a few punches every now and then, if it gets worse, but to harp on and on about it is just tedious. We are seeing the same now with Tyson and Weideman, ok you don’t think Tyson can kick and you don’t think Weid can play, ok, opinion noted. Maybe there’s a player that’s doing everything right, let’s talk about him for a while.

Rejuvenating the backline
Yeah, as soon as Bernie or Jordie want a week off and clock someone. Serously Joel Smith seems to have dropped off the radar a bit, I know he was injured but has his form been ordinary?

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - Round 6
Used to be known as Reservoir Parkside when I played in that comp. Len Fellows was their most well known player, all 6'7" of him. We played them once on a ground that had a slope and had a gravel area in the middle. That was in the junior comp, not the Metropolitan league. Preston, Reservoir area was as tough as in those days, the Preston Town Hall dance on a Saturday night was like Festival Hall, there were so many fights and you would have to be crazy to go near the railway station after the dance.

Max Gawn not in Top 8 Ruckmen according to The Age
Not only is Max not included he, more or less, has Jarrod Witts as the one pushing to get in to the top 8. Then he goes on to say that the reason Martin was so good was the absence of Ryder and the reason Nik Nat was so good was the fact he played mainly against Blicsavs who rarely plays in the ruck now. Max had great figures on the weekend against a very good and former AA ruckman in Goldy, the others were playing against part timers and Max would have had 100 taps against that opposition, provided there were that many contests, of course. It won't take our words to show the football World he is an idiot, his own words condemn him to that.

Sam Weideman
No, I think you are missing the point, that's exactly what has happened, perhaps you should read through this thread again. He was 19 last year and didn't dominate, well howdy doody, what did you expect, he's had a taste of what's required and now he knows what to do when he gets back in the side. Get off his back and just learn to be happy that we have a team that's good enough to allow him to develop before he gets thrown to the wolves.
-
Sam Weideman
Exactly, he's 20 and hasn't shown the talent yet to win a game off his own boot. Who cares about all his injuries and interrupted pre seasons, we want stars, nothing less will do. The season, for us, hasn't started yet and we have a side that appears capable of playing finals football this year but who cares about that, let's rip in to a kid who hasn't been given the chance to prove himself. Unbelievable.

Goodwin says Viney & TMac out for 6-8 Weeks
That may in part be true, but football injuries are a bit of a movable feast, they seem to get better then complications arise, the club may be telling the truth and all of a sudden the situation changes. We don't know what happened and probably never will but I don't think the club would be stupid enough to let players endanger their future by playing them when they were injured.

Caro digs up old wounds of Camp Fiasco on eve of season.
Didn't Richmond change their mindset by Mindfulness and Meditation, they have been considered as a club that lacks Mental toughness in the past so wouldn't you think that they would have been clamouring for this type of program? High Altitude and other programs are probably good for some but not all, the Richmond players embraced their Mindfulness program and it did them no harm, you don't always need to belt players over the head with a brick to prove how tough they are.

You'll be going for this, I'd imagine. So, what if we win the flag, what will you have to offer up then. Is Caro your mum?

You left this bit out, most of our players did this last year, so why the need to send them again? Wilson saw how we played against them last year and we were on top until we got some injuries to key players, don't be fooled by her, she would do anything to destabilise us. Expect more negativity about us from her. Soft? How many other teams have completed this course? generally Bellamy only sends first-year players or older recruits new to the Storm on the camp.

Correct, what we need to know is how Richmond won a flag without doing the camp and why Hardwick didn't deem it necessary for his players? It was a stupid idea in the first place and to do it again was even more stupid. Rugby players are totally different to AFL players and if Bellamy feels it is right for his players that's ok, they are different body shapes to our guys and what suits one code doesn't necessarily suit another. The real storey should have been written last year as to why we did such a stupid thing and came out of it with two injured players.

What the Fritsch
It appears that the boys call him Frittata, that may have been mentioned before, or not.

Current Television
Yes they were good, I've seen them and was surprised to see how good Rowan Atkinson was. There is another show called The Fall with Gillian Anderson (X Files) and that's up to season 3, also very good. I downloaded it but I think it's on Netflix now.

Couple of shows not mentioned on here are, Berlin Station, one series so far, excellent, not sure where you can get this may have to download Line of Duty, 5 series so far, 4 on Netflix Both British and both very good. Ozark, Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, on Netflix was also very good, very different and had to keep watching, hard to watch just one episode. Also Spooks, very good series 10 in all, you may have to download this. There is a movie on Netflix with Kit Harrington, based on the series, called surprisingly Spooks, MI5 Gunpowder, staring Kit Harrington, based on Guy Fawkes and the attempt to blow up Parliament, Harrington's distant relative Catsby was instrumental in the plot. Its a bit self indulgent but very good and very graphic. Three part series.

The adventures of President Donald Gump
I didn't fight with anyone you idiot, you assume that I'm of Italian decent when in fact I'm not, my grandfather came to Australia from Ireland. I find your posts to be, in the main, vile diatribes against anyone that questions you. Im amazed that you are still allowed to post on here. BTW you and your posts are now on ignore, you disgust me.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
I understand what you say about early draft picks and the possibility of having a gap of quality young players coming through, but realistically you can get some good players later in the draft. We learnt a lesson when we tanked that you may get the number one pick, but not necessarily the best player, $cully/Trengove, Martin. Hawthorn haven't had an early pick for a long while now but are rebuilding their side with older players and some later picks. Carlton have got some talented young players as have Brisbane but they are last and second last. We've got the basis of a good side and plenty of talented kids, now we have to top up with some specific players to fill specific gaps we have, if Lever is it then the club will know how much to pay for him. I'm not suggesting paying old rope for silk, but we may have a player or two who suits their needs and a first round draft pick and/or a second for next year, instead of a player.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Not sure why there are so many in this thread suggesting we trade ANB, I'd say he would be one of the first picked every week. The coach seems to have a really high regard for him and seems to think he does his job effectively most weeks, but here on Land, he's the first one to go. I'd be happy to get Lever but we have to balance it up with what we are prepared to pay and let's not rob Peter to pay Paul.
