So, why would Fremantle put in an offer which included pick 11 & supposedly offer him $4.5m if they still hadn’t completed due diligence and were concerned about damaged goods? Makes no sense. Peter Bell is a lawyer, I’m going to assume he’s playing a big game, has put due diligence in there to fuel rumours to push Jesse's price down while not officially saying they’re pulling out. Other than that, Fremantle is a basket case club, the AFL should intervene as this whole trade period has been a shambles. Mahoney should have said "we are now looking at ways to facilitate a trade for May without needing to with Jesse."

You of all people should know that nowhere did I say Jesse had nominated Freo in any official capacity, all I said was, according to Mitch Cleary, Jesse has said he wants to play for them, the rest to me is common sense, maybe not for some.

So would Freo make an offer if Jesse didnt want to go there?
