No matter what happens, I just hope he stays in a good head space while he's with us and doesn't become a passenger. Training reports seem to show he's going hard He's vitally important for us. I'd put him in our top six. I love watching him play. We probably need to get better at poaching from other clubs. Probably need to get another flag to help doing that too.

I kinda feel like this may be Maysies last year anywhere. I think he's lost that closing speed and he just doesn't seem to move that freely anymore. I'm glad it looks like Petty is going to play back, but yep we'll probably need to keep rebuilding our backline over the next couple of years. Hope Tommo gets the permanent spot he worked so hard for with us. He deserves it.

I think it's a great idea getting Windsor running off half back. Salem has not been quite as effective the last two years and without Gus, we need a fast rebounder who can get through the traffic and deliver well. He's the dude.

Spot on @Earl Hood the game has transformed since our premiership. The cattle are good, how well they move together will be the big question. And of course injuries. But I feel we've got better options now if we lose the likes of May, Lever or Gawn.

Just watching the women's final. I'm really appreciating the commentary. Just having two ex players giving great explanations of the player's tactics and techniques without hyperbole and shouting. I just can't understand why the AFL broadcasters can't do the same. We really miss out on game plans and in depth tactics of teams and players with the coverage we get.

One of the main reasons I kept Foxtel for so long over Kayo was the quick rewind feature worked so much better. When Clarrie was on fire, there'd be multiple times in a match I'd have to stop and rewind to watch they way he'd just weave through packs and dispose of the ball. Faster than the human eye that bloke. Such good news to hear he is humming again. Being interstate, it was great to see some extended footage too. Caleb Windsor is going to be a club champion for us one day I think. JVR is now becoming a huge presence up forward for us too. Hope we get that super fast centred delivery into an open f50 going for him. Thanks for all of the reports folks.

Yes early in his career but he's changed his play a lot, so I don't really agree. Latest suspension was an absolute travesty. Moore slid low to take Kozzys legs out. Moore should have copped the suspension. Koz just braced for impact. And yes it will definitely hurt us at the start of the season but it definitely wasn't his fault

This article is a bit pus. No mention of Windsor who had a brilliant first season. Turner. Kolt likely to have an impact this year. Petty back into defence. I reckon they'll be angling for him to take over from May in 2026. And. It's not just about our forward line. All elements of our game plan need to be transformed and our coach has finally stated this. From the backline right through. No mention of this either. Maybe he's getting content for this article from a super coach forum. We can rebound if we can nail down a fast transition game style. We have the talent (pending no serious injuries) I think the players will love to embrace something new. I'm heading overseas for most of September in 2025, so expect us to run deep into the finals. 😁

Look at the Lions and how they started their season to how they played those last couple of finals. It's do-able. We have the right blend of experience and youth. We need to be able to stay fit and also execute well. Foot skills and decision making. I am so happy that the coach has admitted our style is not up to winning a premiership and we're being very open about fixing it. It's about time. I think the players will relish the change after a year or two of frustration. Go dees

Naaaah. They take it as seriously as they do looking after fans of the game and building grass roots footy clubs.

I think Goldie was our BnF for our club this year. She's was just consistently solid week in and week out even through our dive in form. Hope she's recovering ok. And yep Goldie, Macca and Hore should all be AAs. I don't want an easier fixture next year, I want to see a fair fixture for the whole comp! Each team should be playing each other once.
