How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
They're only challenging the rought conduct part of the charge. So yeah, exactly half baked already

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
I felt that was part of his reflex action to throw his right arm up which was braced for collision just to try and keep his balance as his feet were getting taken out. In some ways, if he'd lost his feet, the penalty may not have been as severe. But they're taught to stay on their feet.

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
What going for the ball? Is that we Kozzie shouldn't do? He's cleaned up his act a LOT this year and some on here should recognise this. There was nothing malicious or reckless about what he did. A player dropped his knees and slid into him while he had eyes for the ball only. FFS. Watch it at speed. He wouldn't have have had time to shirk the contest anyway Do you lot expect him to turn into a soccer player and start taking a dive? He's now in our top 4 players and he's being suspended for 3 critical weeks because of an illegal action by the captain of the Collingwood football club. He got up took his kick and was fine and laughing after the game. Something really stinks. We've been bent over by the pies and their mates again.

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
This is not Christian's first rodeo on us. This has been going on for years. We don't appeal half the time When we do, we keep making the mistake of getting Anderson to make an inept attempt at defending us. Why is Christian even still there after his tantrum threatening to resign last year. Resignation should have been accepted on the spot. Complete bias

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
So basically if you want a free kick and to suspend an opponent, you just need to drop your knees at the last second and slide into their hip / midriff. I very much doubt he was concussed. 3 weeks... Cause it's Koz

How Many Weeks For Kozzy?
Don't worry Adrian Anderson will get it reduced to 6 weeks.

This thread is like a combined 5g flat earth convention. Let's just beat Collingwood next Friday, recruit well and get our squad fit for 2025.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Gold Coast
Just watched the game. Viney played like he was in a final. Just incredible leadership. I thought Fritsch did much better leading more upfield. Got him into the game. I'll say it again, we'll really miss Tommo as May waters out next year. We should have played him more often this year. Tholstrup and Disco are really coming along. I know we've recruited a few dodgy players over the last few years, but we have some great young kids coming through. A great win today. I think everyone involved in the club needed that win today Go Dees

Angus Brayshaw Forced into Retirement
That's the thing @WalkingCivilWar. It sounds like it's hard for Gus to get anywhere near getting back to a normal life in general. It's been horrible for the club because he could still have a coaching role (or similar) and of course you'd offer it to him sooner than later. I'm sure it would have been framed in "when you're feeling ready". But, it's possible that he may never be able to contribute to the club he loves. Even more importantly, is the personal impact this is probably having for Gus and his family on the joys of everyday life. It's a contact sport and there will always be risks. The lack of natural justice and ongoing personal impact is a real tragedy. Our final game against the pies might be the last footy I watch this year. Stuff the AFL

Let's face it. Who is happy with the direction we've taken this year? If anyone is, I want what you're having. No-one would be happy with how we've gone and it's a known fact that Tracc's family were not happy either after his serious injury. The only solid thing that Tom Morris has is brown, smelly and comes out of his mouth when he speaks. I don't think Christian is going anywhere but geez we need a big shake up and refresh now.

NON-MFC: Round 22
Suck it pies. How was the Jamie Elliott kick from clear out of bounds allowed to be a point? I've only watched the last ten minutes because the Olympics has sports with clearer rules and better adjudication due to decent technology. And doesn't have as many pillocks commentating. Anyways suck it pies.

Me too @Jaded No More My wife and I travelled down for that final expecting a wonderful, memorable experience at a full MCG. The first thing that soured it was watching Collingwood supporters (of a winning team) hurl abuse and vitriol at Melbourne supporters. There were a couple of little kids crying from it. But it didn't stop them and the security couldn't care less. Secondly, watching Gus getting ironed out. I could accept the brutal hit at the time, because that's who that POS is. I just can't understand the aftermath and lack of justice for Gus. It has soured everything about the AFL for me now. I'll always love and support our club. But not the AFL. The people that lead this league are completely devoid of any integrity or decency. Big love to Gus and his family. @WalkingCivilWar please give Geoff a big hug from me and would love to chip in to help do what the AFL has refused to do in finding justice for Gus.
