I love Jeffy but I wish he could play his best all year. Lets face it... hes a game winner at times, but seems to go missing at the end of seasons. If he can play his best all year it will make a huge difference. Nothing more exciting when the ball goes long and its a race b/w Jeff and some poor mug.

JFK was hardly a warmonger. In fact during October 2013 he saved the world from extinction as he found a way out of the impossible Russian aggression and the Cuba crisis without pressing the button.

I for one like many was saddened by the clubs decision. I also thought in light of how well Jack played in the last 2 years it was a bad decision. Now that its all said and done I can be less emotive about it and accept while a good player of late JW was not and I doubt will ever be a star. The highlights of him playing so well against Cwood someone posted are probably the fondest memories we all have of him. Lets be brutally honest.... there are not too many more. Yes his disposal was clever and he was one of the best said shots going around and yes hes a good backup option if Hogan and Mcdonald are injured and one of the other 3 forwards is not up to par. But that's it. If the decision made Lever happen by just 10 to 20 % (which Im sure it did) than we should all see the bigger picture and move on.

Don't forget too that it was his finest moment. As much as I wanted him to stay, I now accept that there were not many moments like this. (as good as it was).

Hes a likeable enough bloke but I"m afraid that if he goes gangbusters this year I will feel a tad shortchanged and feel like he didnt do enough for Melbourne. Catch 22 for me. Best to just move on and accept that he will be pretty much the same player except when he plays his old team and like the rest of them seem to do .... kick a huge bag. Just the way it is. I do hope we that don't treat him like Scully though.

He was good in the last game but was horrible in his 3 games b4 that. I hope he goes and plays well somewhere else .......best of luck to him. He had a great year last year but he fell away at the end of this one. Hes a seasoned player and needs to show leadership. He didnt and If we can get someone who can in his place we should.

It was interesting. As bad as we were 1st quarter the umps gave Pies 5 frees and 0 to us. In the the 3rd the frees were even ....11 each. IN the last they went back to giving pies 4 more. HUge impact at crucial times.
