A fair bit of uncertainty in this thread. We are favored to win but... Aside from Kozzies work last week, the biggest take from the saints game was the maturity and confidence the boys displayed after the saints fought back in the 2nd. When the umps and saints players wrestled back the momentum , our team huddled together. I dont know what was said but judging from results I imagine it went along the lines of: we are better than this. .....we are better then them.....we know what to do. Then they went and did it. If they bring the same attitude today with their skills, then we should win comfortably. Despite the opposition, if we notch 3 wins in a row with 2 key forwards not playing) then I believe we will certainly play finals. Dees by 41.

With Trac on track to be our dusty or danger.... Brown coming up fwd....May and Lever hitting their strides...if Kozzie keeps playing like this then things are going to be good.

Hopefully after injuries subside no more fwd players are gifted games anymore with competition making them work harder.

I hear you. However after the bulldogs pratice match, our injuries and skill errors against freo....Im happy to believe we are in finals contention at all. I know this may not sound too positive but if beat gws then I think we may make finals. If we beat cats as well then i know we will. Things are looking a lot more interesting with Tmac and Salem of old. Anb and Spargo much improved. Jones played well. New talent in Jordan, kozzie and Jackson. Viney free from injury and Oliver and Trac and Langdon reaching new heights. Despite a few dropped marks I still think our backline is one of the best now being led by Tomlison of all defenders.

Can someone please clarify where we play the gws? I thought it was at Canberra but when I google the afl states spotless in Sydney. I want to see Kozzie play live. Was it rescheduled? Tx.

Interesting post. Jake seems to have lost a lot of form over the last 2 years. But since Tmac has turned things around and 2 key fwds injured and inaccuracy issues, this could work. Hibberd if fit in for Hunt. Although Hunt was better this week. Otherwise back to the mantra, if it aint broke... And it aint broke.
