  1. I finally put my Demons 2021 premiership sticker on the back of my wive's Outlander. But only cos I backed into my neighbours tow bar and it cracked our bumper. It just about completely covers it. My wives poor eyesight will never catch it. Not sure what to do when we sell it. Maybe to a Dees fan but there's not many here in the Gong ( wollongong) I did meet a real estate agent who followed Richmond and we spoke footy for 40 mins. Different clubs but it was like finding a long lost cousin.
  2. Are you decorating the children again?
  3. Making plans now for the 400 ft long led Zeppelin. Its currently tied to the font portico but not fully inflated yet....Just scouring for some more cinder blocks to hold it in place. If things go south, In the end I may have the best seat in the house come Friday night.
  4. Hes getting somewhat long in the tooth for a defender but he's doing a seriously good job. I hope he stays on for another year. Maybe he will do a Fletcher. PS Hi to Charlie Cameron.
  5. Thanks very much Daisycutter. I look into it for her. Anyone else got any ideas . Just pubs? And free? She's even cheaper than me.
  6. Thanks Mods for merging my thread into the correct one. Sorry bout that it was on the layzie side of doing things. He he. Nonetheless it really gets me angry how it's happening constantly. Oh well at least they won't win a flag this year. AGAIN.
  7. And one less player to get lots of head high frees.
  8. Thanks Binman. My family and I moved to North Wollongong about 10 years ago. My daughter is in Melb this week and wants to know of a pub where there will be plenty of Dees fans watching the game on Friday. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. She's in Hawthorn but happy to go into the cbd. Many tx.
  9. Ps they had 10 more than us in our last game/ losses Against them. The fact that it keeps happening with such a big difference is puzzling to say the least.
  10. As of round 20... https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/08/02/the-2022-free-kick-ladder-after-round-20
  11. Good work Layzie we need your plasma. If Im banged up in a car crash I will be requesting it . Yours is probably both red and blue. The very best. As for Cwood supporters donating, we definitely need better screening protocols. Eugenics is immoral but cwood fans are a whole different world and it's the only and proper place where one must draw a line. Imagine a world full of toothless, neck tattooed, married brother and sisters ( to each other). Where one must constantly have to endure a chant of of Cwood everywhere they go even when there is no football game. I have to stop now, it's too frightening to contemplate.
  12. I hope the Lions lose just because of Zorko. Also their confidence thanks in no small part to us is shot.
  13. Thanks for sharing binman. Yes Brisbane are indeed a good side but they seem to drop games they should win. I think the tigers will win in part because our demolition of the lions on their own turf and tigers at present our the opposite with more confidence. If the lions do get up it will be a close one nonetheless. I'm looking forward to all the final match ups. And it's great that they will all be played at the correct venues in that covid will not be deciding where they are played. Especially us playing at the Mcg. In a previous post I mentioned that that I was worried about Franklin...Papley....Heeney but I also forgot about Warner. Had they smashed the Saints I'd be extremely nervous about losing this one. Also there are a lot if Swans fans in Melb ( sth Melb supporters) so the crowd difference in our favour is never as big as it should be. Maybe a final back at the Mcg will change that. Come on everyone....get to the game. I was thinking we really miss a 2nd tall but swans fwd line isn't that tall either. Any thoughts on perhaps Adam T playing fwd or rotating him with Petty up there or is it too much of a risk? Poor Bbb as the Lone tall is a big ask.Max up there to help doesn't instill too much confidence as his set shots are shocking. At least he can bring the ball to ground where our smalls can get to work. I don't think they will play Tmac. That seems even riskier. Perhaps it will come down to Fritta and Kozzie . Maybe Anb and Spargo will kick a few each and Harmes too. Also I'm pretty sure Melksham gets another gig so if he's on fire again it would be great. I do think this will be a tough final but maybe with our double ruck combo and our wonderful mids we may just dominate the clearances and win from that. Ps Maybe Franklin has already mentally checked out.

Bbb can't do it all. At present he really is are only tall. Melk has been good but isn't a big man . Neither is Fritta. WWXcan't play Weid but if we have Jackson in the ruck...Max is nit a reliable link to leave up fwd. It's a huge gamble playing Tmac ...I'm not sure Goody will risk it. Can Tomlinson play fwd or is he injured?
  15. You'd have to ban yourself.😃 cos you would have nobody to talk to. I must say you have raised the standard of many a post.
  16. Of course we really want him to stay but I'm sure it's not just about the $. Family and friends live in WA. If he goes I'll always celebrate the last 3 mins of the 3rd qrt of last year's Gf and hopefully his efforts in this year's.
  17. And Bitters too as: "The poster formerly known as Bitter but optimistic but now just mostly optimistic". There should be quite e few changes when we win back to back.
  18. My favourite thread.
  19. My kids and wife just laugh at me when I post during the game. Sheesh, as if I want to listen to their astute insights.
  20. Ditto...especially for my Melksham posts.
  21. Looking for his car keys.
  22. Might as well put Zorko in charge than Mr elbows and hands in the back Hawkins. He has talent but he's not captain material that's for sure. You can't go past Max. Captains are great players but they don't get reported. They are giants of the game but gentlemen too.
  23. Yep. Totally underestimated in the comp by so many. Easily shuts down the best of the best. His age hasn't slowed him. He has incredible closing speed and a wealth of defenders experience. Did a great job against the lions and I still remember when ne made Dusty Martin look like an auskick player. One of the reasons are backline struggled early as Hibberd was absent.
  24. Haven't seen much of him yet. I certainly think we havent seen his best either. Glad he's staying on.
  25. If we face Geelong, I would love to have every cats players mobile number and send them a faux message from Max Gawn.... Wishing them the best of luck.
