I am also concerned. Very Lucas Cook at the moment...is barely having an impact at the moment.
Who's Lucas Cook?

Lol - Jeremy Howe-ler on the god-awful Ch7 Game Day.
Waiting for Casey to start...

No change. Test the resolve.
If yesterday really hurt, they ought to come out breathing fire against GC Scums for a 10 goal win.

Jeez glad I didn't watch it, there'd be a few holes in the wall.
With that naive perspective, If you told me this morning we would play some good footy in crappy conditions and nearly win, I wouldn't spew up.
Yes, frustrating, but clearly on the right path. We're all longing for the next step to be taken and it'll be soon.
Set sights on ripping the Suns a new one next week...

Listening on the radio - sounds like the Dawes show is going to script?

It's only the tip of the iceberg, Bitter.
But this is a family friendly show, right?

Round 16, 1990. My sadistic Filth-supporting father took an 8 year old me to Windy Hill and let me sit with the MFC cheer squad as he spent the first 3/4s at the bar. I used to run around with other kids and collect empty tinnies for Cash-a-Can.
We got smashed all day and were down by 27 points at 3/4 time. We came back, kicking towards our end and won by 8 points. Darren Bennett kicked a bag (8?), Ricky Jackson got a few and Gary Lyon kicked a torp from 60-70 m out to give us the lead late in the game.
Goosebumps!

How much more evidence do you need? The last 10 seasons not enough for you?
I'm talking about Roos era - perhaps I should've been more specific. No question the improvement isn't as strong as planned/imagined. But I bet everyone here will be more circumspect *IF* we can get to 10 wins, look to the pre-season and gear up for, let's say, 12-13 wins next year.
-
If we can't beat GC and Carlton, then I'd say no improvement.
That being said, I think it's worth reserving our judgement until the conclusion of the season when we can take a breath and assess the year.
It will be fascinating to see how the transition to Goodwin will translate on the field - I'm hoping ala McCartney - Beveridge.
