Erryone chillax, we'll roll Hawthorn next week and all will be forgiven.

I am skeptical about Carlton. Wasn't Hird trying to keep up with them in the first place because he was sure they had a peptide programme?
Kruezer has a knee scrape and should be out for a month and still plays. Casboult has a fractured leg and still plays. They are two players down for most of the game and still run out the game against one of the premiership favourites.
Oooh, controversial! I dare you to ring up SEN talkback and raise that one!

Port did a fantastic job of getting under our skin today, niggled all day long. Players spent too long looking at the umpire (fair or not it doesn't matter) and didn't switch on.
We couldn't stick tackles.
Nothing wrong with the forward line, they are dangerous when the rest of the team do the right things.
Jetta was great in the back line, I like what Wagner does by foot if he has a few seconds. The rest were pish (other than TMac every now and then).
The inside grunt of the midfield need to know that not every single one of them has to go at the player with the ball, makes it too easy for the opposition to get the ball out to a man in space (even if they fluff it, no Dees are there).
Also, on our defense. I doubt these stats are put down, but we hear on the coverage where we are doing well in so many areas on recent years... I think it would be interesting to know how many scores we get out of the backline v other teams.
Oh well, on to next week.
Bang on with your opening point on niggling. A couple of eye-gouges, bit of push and shove, mouthing-off. Did anyone see the footage of a Port mid slapping down Chunks' hands whilst he had his hands on his hips?
Amazing Jones didn't turn around and give him one in the chops. And Viney losing his cool a bit. We got distracted.

The crumpling is rubbish or the reaction?
The act itself

Has anything been said in the media about the stager this week?
They had a look at it on On The Couch - all agreed it's rubbish

When was the last time we won as favourites?? Seriously I can't remember, nearly all our wins for the past few years we are rank outsiders !
Last year against the Bears- remember that hideous game? Most have probably blocked it from their memory .

Nick Riewoldt.
I have it on good authority he is despised by his own playing group.

Tipped Swans tonight.
Ditto- strange first quarter ...

I've tipped Freo. The Tiggers are cocky after their little GF last week thanks to a lucky bounce and they'll get rolled by the sh*tfish.

All depends on Max, if we lose out of the middle we're going to get scored against heavily, if we win it's going to allow us to score heavily from clearance.
i like the idea but i do think we need a plan B because while it allows us to have the patches where we kick 5-6 goals quickly, it allows the opposition to do the same at times.
Bloody hell, no pressure Maxy!

Whatever the selection choices, I don't want to hear the word 'hindsight' in a post-game presser again :/

Surely that's it for Garland?? In his own little world out there, the game has well and truly gone past him.

Damn, picked Adelaide, but who cares - we're in the 8! (For now)

I believe the radio and TV broadcasts are now out of sync to stop people from doing this.
Probably overcome this if you have Foxtel IQ.
All over it

I was in my post-work bliss until you mentioned that. Channel 7 should hire the two SEN guys that were on Fox last weekend.
Sorry bout that! Mute the telly and put on the wireless?

I'm feeling nauseous just thinking about the BT and the 7 commentary tonight

There is an awesome feature called the "ignore" function. Let's you hide any posts from an individual, I think this will come in handy.
Cheers Cards, I'll definitely check it out!

Yaawwwn.
As a relative newbie to DL, but a fanatic nonetheless, the childish [censored]-for-tat on some threads are getting reeeally boring. I'm looking at you picket and stuie amongst others.
I come on here to observe and engage in footy discussion on the 'team we love', not schoolyard dummy spits and d**k waving!!
Can't ya'll grow up and play nice?
We're all here with the same passion.
GO DEES. Take it right up to the Dogs and do us proud this week.
