It's just a good chance for us to beat them convincingly, continue to knock off these shite records and set the tone for the season.
Luther, I totally agree. At first I thought this must be some kind of sick joke, but let's just get rid of these silly hoodoos like grown ups and get on with the business of success. Saints at Etihad, yeah so what?!
Carn Dees, bring on 2017!

As a side note...
Lewis gets more hitouts than Vickery.
Come to think of it, he also kicked 27 goals one season, which is only just shy of Vickery's best (36, back in 2011).
So maybe Lewis is the forward-ruck we've been missing?
More hitouts!? Hilarious, Vickery really is shite!

Righto, Riddler, you've got 8 pages out of these poor sods, now give us the goddamn answer already!!!!!

Just out of interest, does anyone have any specifics on Rockliff has allegedly done to earn this rep ? Is he a complete dirtbag of a bloke or perhaps just nit a very good captain ?
Rating chicks on Twitter is a start...

How about
Hibberd for next years 2nd round (they made us wait for Melksham, let's make them wait)
Lewis for this years 3rd round
Rockliff for this years 2nd round
Would love Rockliff, he is a gun. That would be an amazing trade period in my view, unsure if it will happen but let's see
Rockliff is a loose cannon, they can't give him away.
No thanks.

Will they do a Leicester next season?
Yes indeed that was the ponder

Devils advocate: I wonder how will the dogs go next year? Can they maintain the rage or will they drop off a little/others catch up?
Given they did finish 7th but managed to ride an extrodinary wave of emotion through the finals, its hard to call I reckon.

Thank you, Vibes, for so succinctly summarising my feelings from today

Typical Demonland [censored] comment right there. Nothibg wrong having a 2nd club to support
Relax max, see edit, took initial comment too literally.
Totally admire the dogs and congratulate them. It all just raises anguish for when we'll see success. Flagrant jelousy..

I agree. Appalling disposal.

Just watched the game not knowing the result, what a [censored] waste of 2 hours that was.

Ugh! Got friends coming over to show off their new baby at 2.00 ?
Delayed recording it is. To check scores or not? Hmm

What's with all the empty seats behind the goals at the city end? Is that Geelong reserve seating?

So I was wrong, when the line up for the season was announced I was thinking the one show I didn't mind 'about' footy would be lost in a giggle for a suspended Essendon player.
Mark Robinson - while still a nong in many respects, has become much more considered with his questions (maybe better script writers - his print hasn't improved that much) and I find his love of football believable.
I think the research behind the scenes is strong and been well impressed with some of the research.
I think the Demons have been given a fair crack.
People need to get off Gils back I reckon he's thinking about the game long term.
I also think the music editor does a good job fwiw.
I agree RE: music - everything from Gary Numan to The Angels, good stuff.
At least with Robbo you know what your getting, he wears his heart on his sleeve. Met him a few times and he always takes the time for a chat. Even if he was staggering about in stained tracksuit pants eating a fruit salad to try and sober up 45 mins before the Dees' first game 2015!

Is there a deadline to this decision, or is that a fanciful real-world expectation?
