Tightening up at the end of the Under-19 semi final. Australians chasing 206 have made 4 runs off the last 4 overs losing one wicket and are currently 8-203 with 2 overs remaining. No runs off the bat from the last two overs. Aussies win by 2 wickets having made 7 runs off the last 27 balls.

Meh, using Federer is like using Bradman in a cricket conversation, basically a truism.

I want her and Gasquet to procreate - the backhand on that offspring could not be looked at with the naked eye for it would be too pure and beautiful.

Ah! This argument is like masturbating with a cheese grater - slightly amusing but mostly painful.

Just like when S.A. won the toss against NSW and romped home...

Full marks to them, they're playing some brilliant football. Chelsea will be hard to shift but Fabregas would have to be the most influential player in the league at the moment. Our lack of wins at 'big four' grounds extends to 66

I'm a big Henin fan, she's looking pretty good.

Furthermore, how many runs would Hussey have scored if he hadn't have scored those 134 runs?

Clarke goes for 166. I thought he'd play his way back into form, he admitted to being lazy at stages this summer but I felt he was working really hard to improve his game. The 6th highest partnership ever by an Australian pair and the 2nd highest for the 4th wicket. Very good knock from the skipper, 10th most double centuries

England win the toss and chose to bat only to be humbled by Morkel and Steyn, with the latter taking 5-51, for 180. Steyn now has a five-for against all test playing nations. Strauss becomes the first Englishman to go first ball in a test for 73 years!

How do you figure that HT? Doesn't a win get us into the prelim?

Shouldn't be too hard - a match yesterday at the Adelaide oval

I won't start a new thread about it, but after the tragic event that took place over the weekend involving the Togo football team's bus, the African Cup of Nations has begun. Now you'd think that at 4-0 up after 78 minutes you'd be sitting pretty.... Hosts Angola scored twice each side of half time and appeared to be cruising until Mali hit back with FOUR late goals!

    North is safe, for now.

Two massive deflections have saved Arsenal, though I thought Everton's second goal shouldve been offside. That Denilson is a fair sook not to mention Traore

Duminy, what a cricketer. Two vital wickets (from two very good close in catches) and there's now 11 overs left with three wickets in hand. Meanwhile, Bangladesh make 296 in a one dayer and India need 108 from the last 101 balls. Impossibly close bump ball decision goes England's way. 20 balls left, two wickets in hand. Wow. Inspired bowling change, morkel on for steyn and Bell's great innings comes to an end. 17 balls left, one wicket. 5 balls left morkel to onions oh dear I was going to bed hours ago, the missus will be thrilled. A review on the second last ball. Not out. Last ball...
