Chelsea would be my pick for this season. With foxtel I'll be able to watch many more matches this season. Come on you Spurs!

Thanks for the updates GG, they're very much appreciated. 3 of the big 4 could be in for interesting seasons, though I think Owen can still be a quality player at United. Would anyone want Keane? Would we be interested in getting rid of him?

Spurs 5 Arsenal 1 Carling Cup Semi Leg Two - I watched it in a sports bar in Cairo that didn't serve alcohol and required a 25 pound minimum spend. I ordered lasagne, that was 24.90 but i begged him to let me buy only that. It came out in the 80th minute and was spicy as all hell, but I was in raptures at this stage. Ended up later on that night in downtown Cairo drunk as a skunk and singing Spurs chants.

Was I the only one who found it very strange the way the English side celebrated their "win" over the Windies? I thought it boarded on ridiculous - you'd almost be embarassed to win that way, let alone have celebrations on the balcony. And even then, if the team did celebrate, I'd expect the captain to temper it. Strauss seemed to react as though England had pulled through as the deserving winners,as if they'd outplayed the Windies somehow. If I were captain, I'd show a little more faith in my side and express how it was a disappointing way to win the match as I felt we could've won the game outright - rather than his exclamations of glee that his team required a [censored]-up by the opposition coach to gift his side a rare victory.
