Hilarious book, worth a read

Haydn Robins is an absolute gun footballer....at Beaconsfield. Kicked a ton quite a few times, won a few flags, retired a couple of years ago, made a successful comeback then retired again. He is now coaching Beaconsfield and yes has pulled on the boots yet again and is still going well. Also at local rivals Berwick, George Gorozidis is playing and I believe he was once on the Melbourne list? or maybe it was only the supplementary list?

We actually got pick 55 (?), Bizzell was a seperate trade.

Was on fire today, best game i've seen him play.

Luke Molan is another disappointing player, for someone drafted so high in the so called 'super' draft you would of hoped he played a few games at least.

I would say Heffernan is one disappointing player. Looked alright at Essendon, did nothing for a few years before finally leaving.

I never saw Robbie Flower play, as im too young, however I am always hearing about how talented he was from my mum (who really doesnt follow football) of all people. Its good to see she isnt wrong

I think the way it is now is pretty good. Girls I think play mixed to under12s then have their own competition (here in victoria anyway). Seems reasonable to me.

I might as well have a go, Well my name is Dale, im 19 and live near Pakenham. Right now I should be studying for exams for uni, where I study Medical, Forensic and Analytical Chemistry (impressive name hey ). Outside following the demons and uni, I'd say my main interest is music, punk and hardcore mainly. My most memorable MFC moment is still to come in a few years, when we win a flag!!!!! :D Anyway thats all I can think of for now so...cheers!

Surely there isnt enough Tasmanians in the AFL to put together a competitive side?

I would love to see state games come back. Would surely beat Int. Rules imo. The only problem I see is similar to one facing Int. Rules, there needs to be some way of getting the best players to play. This is crucial in state of origin as lot more players are required (eg. 30 odd for Int. Rules, 100 odd for State of Origin).

I dont know bout top 10, I think late 1st round more like it. Anyway I think Sylvia will take the biggest step next year. He has now had a season to get used to the standard of footy and should be ready and know what is required to step up.

Id like to see him in the midfield as well. We have plenty of young tall defenders and Dunn and Newton can both play forward so perhaps Bate would be best used in the midfield.
