Bernie keen to lure Sloane to the Dees
Sloane is a sliding A Grader & Gaff is an improving A Grader. Gaff is younger, healthier and would probably win the Brownlow if it were counted today. To top it off, Gaff is more of what we need I would take Gaff well & truly ahead of Sloane.

Gerard Whately is a Moron
Okay enough. This is just stupid.

Gerard Whately is a Moron
This has to be the most ridiculous post in many years. I just canβt imagine what sort of meaningless life one would have to lead to allow such an insignificant comment by a sports journalist that has to fill 19 hours of microphone time per week to upset them in the slightest.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
A nice player and worth a Pick 10 - 15 and 4 years at $600k. I'd be developing Joel Smith and using early picks on outside mids who can seriously run & kick.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Absolutely correct Diamond Jim. Lever was ok, in a side which dominated. Not in their best 15 players.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Ridiculous comment, you won't find one football person outside of the MFC family claiming that Melbourne won this trade. The best we'll get is that "whilst it doesn't look good now, it was deal that PERHAPS the Dees had to do at the time due to their pathetic situation. If you don't believe that we wouldn't have made finals this year with Kelly or Bontimpelli at the Dees instead of Tyson & Salem, then you have no idea. The facts are we could've taken Kelly or Bont with Pick 2 and Hunt with Pick 20. If you say Hunt was a stretch at 20, then do what other Clubs have done and turn 20 into 30 & 48 so you get your speculative pick because you know he'll be there. Your defense of Tyson will look silly when Maynard pushes him to Casey next year and Salem's lack of intensity and fierce desire has him at Casey with him.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
RPFC, aren't you forgetting we also gave away Pick 20 in this deal. Even now only the diehard Dees supporters are defending this trade. Tyson, slow & one sided. Salem lacks intensity, lacks leg speed and I'm not sure about his desire to build a midfield type engine, just a neat half back flanker. Roos with his one premiership by less than a kick, despite all the advantages enjoyed by the Swans is not always right.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
3dee read the post. I said he is a captain, not the captain. You must be fun to live with!!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
May is a 26 yo key defender who is a Captain of his Club. Some guys here believe he is the answer to our defensive problems, yet believe that we could get him for a 2nd rounder & a de-list in Kent. GC would want our first rounder plus a Tyson or maybe our 3rd rounder for the points. I would also estimate that May would not want a penny less than $2.8 to $3 million over 4 years. Must say I'm a little concerned about the 193 cm. Purely based on priorities, it's a NO from me, I want the 200 cm forward/ruck and 2 x quick, skilful, precise kicking outside mids.

Josh Kelly
What say we offer Tyson & Salem for Kelly. Would that get it done?

Delistings
La La Lumumba sums him up perfectly. When I heard that nutcase telling Tim Watson that he was struggling to overcome the loss of Mohammed Ali weeks after his death, I quickly realised why Collingwood pushed him out the door. Hopefully, in my lifetime, we never get so bloody bad again that we have to take other Club's damaged goods like La La & Dawes on such lucrative, long term contracts.
