  1. Charlie Curnow is expected to go a little bit lower than people expected. He ran 14.5 in the beep test, and a 10:24 time for his 3K run. He's tall, 191 cm and a solid 95 kilos. Another would be Sam Weideman who seems the most imposing out of the key forwards, takes marks, kicks goals, 196cm, 96 kilos, if either of them aren't gone by pick 6 (assuming we don't trade it), we should jump on Curnow, he can play a midfield role as well and looks like a good key forward to run alongside with Hogan
  2. Studied his highlights today, I think he could be useful if he decides to pursue the half-back role. He has a monster kick and seems pretty accurate as well. If he doesn't, he seems to have some poise in the midfield that could help, wont be the A+ were looking for but he seems to have some class about him and experience with Goodwin can only help.
  3. I don't think he would be worth a top 10 pick let alone a top 3 where there are better players available
  4. Maynard was originally a tough midfielder in the draft but he seems to play a running half-back role now.
  5. I have good confidence that Roo's and Goodwin can change this man into a good player. Goodwin's relationship with him means a lot more than we may think.
  6. Who doesn't? We don't want him to choose Gold Coast, we NEED him to. Parish is a gun as Monde said a Marc Murphy like figure. A+ midfielders won't want to relocate here as of now, our midfield needs to be built in the draft and Parish looks to be the only option for competing with the best midfields in the comp
  7. Exactly I think if we traded him to Collingwood it really wouldn't benefit us at all, a straight swap for Kennedy and possibly a 3rd rounder, whilst GC are willing to give up pick 3 plus a second rounder for Howe and pick 6, would really benefit us a lot more. Than possibly the 3 way deal of Toump to Port Moore to Dons Melksham to Dees Would be ideal imo
  8. We need to play hard ball, we are too easy to knock over during trading. Play hard to get then if he doesn't get there in time he will go into the draft and possibly to a different club
  9. Same here, all this talk that its an average draft isn't helping my case, pick 3 can't be seriously better than pick 6
  10. The game revolves around midfield, if we want a chance at a finals spot in the next few years, our midfield will need to compete with an A+ midfield.
  11. What a shame, would have been daylight robbery to get him at pick 29
  12. I really rate pedo as a player, I think he's superior to Dawes and could be a great asset with an injury free season. I don't think we will be going hard enough for Casboult as you said he's not a huge upgrade.
  13. Exactly He averaged 15 odd disposals this year and barely made there best 22 when he played
  14. Definitely agree with you here, the talent in the draft varies, could essentially be losing nothing
  15. I'd prefer the 3 way deal people have been talking about, means keeping higher second round pick
