  1. I read Mark Robinson’s description of Kozzie’s actions on Friday night in The Tackle in the HS with some trepidation but to my surprise it was an extremely balanced & articulate statement. We absolutely must challenge this .
  2. 26 yr old …7 yrs older than Luker
  3. Drafted mid season…19 yrs …done already …really ???
  4. & I’m sure Trac would love to go to a club that is in a rebuild and realistically would be lucky to play finals for five years . He wants to play finals..in Melb and play at the MCG
  5. He’ll be one of those “wise heads” around our younger players.. similar to what Clarko’s trying to get …😳🧐
  6. I so hope everyone who can go ..goes. As I’m oft criticised for being an “optimistic supporter “ and would go anyway …let me say that the feeling you get when you get a win that we’re not expected to get or been under the pump media wise (which seems to be most of this year) is just incredible. But win or lose ANB & BBB deserve a good send off so.. Go Dees
  7. Basically just as the headline says ..addressed his injuries KB and various concerns…trade speculation etc, Demons did not return calls
  8. Not sure ..maybe ask Neale why he wanted to leave Brisbane or why Dangerfield wanted to leave Adelaide or Kelly ..Geelong …could keep going .. Say it again ..Club is bigger than player ..
  9. Can you explain why it’s ok for DS to pile on the club for Max’s extension but you don’t think it’s ok for posters to pile on his ridiculous comments. There has been so much negativity lately and after a fantastic win & brilliant news re our Captain..its good to enjoy some positivity…
  10. THIS …,MELB 117 ..Suns 53 👍🏻😉
  11. If Trac goes …he goes because sadly we’re not a top 4 club (member wise) He loves playing in front of big crowds & what we dish up (crowd wise) is not what he wants. He def wouldn’t go interstate (no MCG) there & so who knows who will come for him but I’d rather have Oliver & Viney (who will stay) because I believe they bleed red & blue (like Max) . I don’t feel that with Trac. He’s 29 played in all our finals series but didn’t make a difference in winning or losing so I’d def take the high picks if they come our way. I personally have lost a bit of love for him..still can’t believe he acknowledged Maynard after the Brayshaw act.
  12. I think I put in brackets (in private). I am absolutely aware of what has happened/happening with the Bont in particular …but he/his camp haven’t aired their grievances publicly…
  13. I have no doubt Trac has expressed his feelings to the club ..in fact Goody referenced it but it’s more how him/his team have played this out. He would absolutely know that as 29 yrs old ..his contract etc …the only teams with currency are not be going to win a premiership in the next couple of years. As I said I’d personally be very happy to take the draft picks & add to our young talent…he might not be happy but I’m not overly happy with him. Instead of the first default action where it’s always the MFC’s fault..maybe Gawn and others aren’t overly happy with how Trac’s handled/engineered this. A player is the sum of the club & its supporters ..no player should be bigger than the club & when all is said & done…MFC will continue to be our club of choice. I’m more unhappy about losing ANB …
  14. Cannot believe the angst and vitriol being posted on here over basically unsubstantiated rumours by “click bait” journalists. I for one haven’t been overly happy with Trac’s social media etc since the injury. He’s made many a comment on “ his interests” outside of footy but has never been overly complimentary about the MFC. Players of his ilk as in Cripps (no premierships) & Bont (1 premiership) who have literally carried their team (aka Gawnie) never criticise their club (in public). I absolutely get the severity of the injury and all that and obviously understand that there would be unhappy players etc etc .. but to be honest if a club came and offered 2 first round picks I’d be happy. He loves the limelight ..loves the big crowds & to be honest we’re not going to give him that. I wish the carry on here translated to supporters showing up and actually supporting their team at the ground !!
  15. Clarry played under duress & the rib injury would have been the final straw. Clarry was still better than anyone else we had and one of the main reasons the club kept playing him would have been for his mental health. Can you really imagine how he would have been in rehab for half the season. Don’t criticise the club as you have no idea of how the club & the player worked together to get him to where he was.
  16. Quite stupid comments…no team has the luxury of resting the many players that are running round with injuries. 2 come to mind in DeGoey & Curnow & then ..bringing Todd Marshall back ..Alex Pearce etc …the list goes on.
  17. Considering the rib injury would have been the hit from Sweet …so yes very painful FOR HIM
  18. Shame …your lack of perceptron is staggering. A person (def not a genuine supporter) whose mind is set one way & doesn’t want anything to sway it. ☹️
  19. Yep …comes out whenever there’s stuff going on …never says much when things are good …
  20. If someone can pull up a post ..quote a statement that Trac has actually said/posted any of the comments alluded too …then basically it actually is “gossip & inuendo”. ?
  21. 😳
  22. Then where was the criticism for playing DeGoey who was clearly injured… they got the win for Pendles 400 & DeGoey gets a 3 month injury. Or Carlton playing Curnow who has been struggling with an ankle…reinjures it again & now could miss the rest of the season.
