Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Trac didn’t want to attend the BnF and used his AZ training as an excuse. The club should’ve made him attend. Ultimately that’s a lack of maturity of both sides. I agree Clarry at the Cats will send him back to his awesome best. As Smith said, “the Cats let the players play to their strengths”… Sometimes it’s not that hard Goody. And we would get nothing in return. That will be the heartbreaking outcome the media will push. So they both need to stay. The culture (horrible word) needs to grow the f up. TOO LATE. Next year is big or bust. The fallout or vindication.

TOO LATE. We’ve doubled down on all of them, Goodwin too. Trac and Oliver were champions and need to get back to their best. The young need Trac and Oliver to learn from. We’ve made this mistake before. Can’t sell our best players at their lowest value. Forget it.

May to Tribunal
I like his style, going in hard: “Rush (Dees): To say the player is negligent because a ball may or may not bounce in a particular way is... I won't use the word I was going to say. It's totally unreasonable.”

Agree on Perkins, he’s a smart target

I’m with you… but Salem? He was ok tonight. He’s had solid games this year.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
I watched the game. I see a better group of players who are confused with a failing system. Often flat footed and unsure. Champions like Trac having little influence. I think we missed the chance to fire Goodwin, he’s staying. But my God he needs to get more out of the potential of this list. Make no mistake, he’s failing. What are you seeing?

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I’m not telling Trac off. That would be ludicrous. It was an observation that he’s still not fully confident. I could’ve put in the positive rather than the negative, fair enough. There’s just a huge challenge when two of the best ever MFC players are at peak age and not at peak output. As good as Windsor, X, Langford etc might be… I’m not sure they’re Clarry and Trac level prodigious.

Completely agree. Clarry was most damaging when he’d take a few burst steps before disposal. I feel like he’s not far away but that last few percent are the hardest to find. I see Trac as still being too timid.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
If Spargo stays then I suspect he'll be sub, it's the punishment role with an opportunity to prove yourself before dropped. Agree about Brown, he'll get a chance but not this week. Maybe next week in Alice could suit.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
I'm somewhat cheating with my confidence, as Lever is fronting the media to discuss the game and his likely return. The MFC wouldn't allow that, unless it's some strange bluff, but we've never done that previously. I personally also rate him as a player and leader highly enough to come straight back in. Sharp, I'm so disappointed by him. He's still young so maybe there's improvement to come.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Isn't there a conspiracy that their 50m rulers are a little questionable?

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
No way Lever isn't in. Expecting Viney in too. Two changes is maximum you'd think. Sharp is certainly out. No idea who the other will be... probably AJ

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Oliver ! To be fair, the team isn’t performing so individually it’s more challenging. But Chandler is having career best. Kossie is a star, having him in the midfield is electric. Bowey!! He’s been magnificent. Turner is breaking out. Sparrow is performing well. Then Gawn is a master. TMac is massively underrated, great year. Salem has been solid. Who’s gone backwards?

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
I’m sure it’s been mentioned - but what a great moment when Oliver received the ball on the burst in the first. The crowd was awesome and the kick to Sparrow was perfect.

Haven’t seen enough to say. Wasn’t super excited when we drafted him, don’t really know what he’s meant to become? Just looking it up, 2022 wasn’t exactly a super draft.

Clearly I’m typing with eyes closed. We were the better team. JVR looks everything he should be, just can’t break out. I see it as just a matter of time and when he does, it will stick. Oliver has a journey back but I believe in him 1000%, just hope it’s with us. Trac, Gawn. Gods. The youth are incredible, Lindsay was excellent, Langford sublime. Windsor set himself a high standard. Kolt should’ve started. There’s a lot of improvement from McVee. Fritch was playing on Sicily which is no small task, thought he did ok. Honestly, it seems like a team that should be contending. That’s my frustration, the chemistry isn’t chemisting.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
We were the better team. This kind of loss shouldn’t matter. JVR has a great many attributes, seems to be overthinking and over-trying. That’s the pressure of AFL. Give the kid time. And Jeffo, he’s young, I don’t know why people pile on @picket fence for supporting the kid. I hope he becomes a massive gun for us and Pickett never lets us forget that he was always a believer!

TRAINING: Thursday 1st May 2025
What a garbage article. Geel get to pay Oliver 850k. Good for them. While we’d “save” 1m by not having him? What kind of stupidity would that trade be?

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs West Coast
This. Absolutely agree. I feel Kolt especially cares, so I hope he plays and isn’t starting sub. The curious case of JVR … maybe part of his problem is that he’s trying too hard? He appears panicked / rushed
