How so? When he was in the side we won 6 of 9 (66.6%) When out of side we won 4 of 13 (30.7%) I'm not saying he is the reason we are winning, just that when he plays we win more often for some reason.

Don't disagree with the part about VFL versus AFL Nasher, and also completely understand the idea that we need to play guys like Weidermsn to get them up to speed so to speak, also understand that the selectors are in the best position to pick the team, but I still believe he is a player who can help us win depending on the opposition and not a spud as others like to suggest.

True, but the fact remains, he plays in a higher percentage of wins than just about any other player in our team (with a statistically significant number of games played).

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your meaning, however I don't see how you can suggest a total lack of relationship when we are 33% more likely to win when he is in the team than when he is not?

Interestingly in 2016 he played in 6 wins and 3 losses which is 66%. Without MFC won 4 and lost 13 which is 30.7%. Therefore in 2016 we won 66% of our games when he was in the side and 30.7% when not in the side, which is a pretty strong statsistic I reckon.

Can't find the link but here are the raw stats from 2013 to 2016: MFC 23 wins from 88 games = 26.1% Cam played in 12 wins in 45 games = 26.6% If you figure out the games he was not in, the stats work out for MFC as 11wins in 43games without Cam which is 25.5%. Therefore we win 26.6% of our games when he plays and 25.5% when he does not ? States were skewed higher towards him at the time as it wasn't at the very end of the season, at the time it was around 25% versus like 35%

We win a higher percentage of games when he is in the sides. Stats were provided in the age at the end of last year.

The way I look at it, Spencer has been at the club for around 6 years and spent the past few rucking against Gawn, surely some of the Gawn magic has rubbed off. I reckon he will see this opportunity as his chance to shine and will come out and have a massive game. Demons by 35.

Don't disagree with the sentiment. The last three games have been pretty tough contestests and our game style requires a lot of activity around the ball, is there merit in making 1-2 changes (other than Gawn out/Spenser in) to ensure we have a couple of fresh players in the side?
