  1. I have 2 issues with the players. 1: They have not been contrite in any way and still harp on about being innocent and hard done by, which come from the club mainly. They should just take the punishment, come back and do their job. They have that right and although I would never really respect them they have the right to return to their life. 2: (which is actually aimed at the media) The return of the players should not be celebrated in any way shape or fashion. The whole come back story the EFC are running is disgusting. The players should have simply returned and got on with things. The AFL should have shut down any thought of celebrations or fan fair as it is entirely inappropriate to celebrate the return of a cheat, what sort of message does that send! As we all know the AFL are inept and entirely incompetent and bound to the short term dollar, they have no sense of what is best for the game long term!
  2. He has a lifetime ban from all WADA sports, not just the AFL.
  3. The tribunal essentially have asked for a medical certificate and without that the trial doesn't go ahead.
  4. Tracey Holmes, hahahahahahahahahhaha
  5. It actually isn't about the EFC boys, he conveniently wasn't found guilty by the AFL for any charge to do with them at all. What he was found guilty of, and what he is appealing, is a bunch of things form other places.
  6. I may be wrong but I don't think Dank was found guilty with anything to do with TB4 so I am not sure it would be in any way admissible to talk about it as it is irrelevant to this case. He may be using this expert to talk about the substances he was found guilty of trafficking etc.
  7. He didn't turn up to his case the other week as well. I think it was a defamation case. He lost without a hearing and had to pay all legal fees.
  8. I have never worked out what TWSNNN is. Not surprised wkik has been edited, it is probably in the PD for one of the staff to make sure there is no mention of it.
  9. Just saw that Jobe has got to keep his All Australian status from 2012. Why am I not surprised the AFl think he cheated enough to get banned, enough to lose the Brownlow, yet no quite enough to lose the AA selection. It makes no sense, he either cheated that year with PED's or he didn't. At least now we know the deal done to get him to give it up! Must go and see the shrink now, I clearly need it as I am expecting sense from the AFL!
  10. A quote from the pile of puss article. " With no pending cases hanging over their heads, that makes now the time for the respective bodies to get together and look at all aspects of the code and in particular, whether it applies to team sport." Really, so no Olympic sports are team sports then, not the hockey, the water polo, the soccer, the handball, the volleyball, etc etc etc. The AFL really are very very stupid, problem is so is much of the population who will not question the comments of the AFL and just go along with them without a critical thought in their head. Here is another one " There are those within football who would like to see the AFL totally disassociate itself from the entire WADA code. They say the willingness of the game and the players to embrace their voluntary illicit drugs policy is an indicator that they would just as rigidly self-police performance-enhancing drug use as well." Do they really think they strongly police their own illicit drug policy? hahahahahahahahahahahaha
  11. Have said it before and will stand by it, If the AFL leave the WADA code then I leave the game. Simple as that.
  12. Join the EFC faithful with their heads buried firmly in the sand. I dare say not many people would still have any record of placing a bet 4 years ago, although with online betting I may be wrong, maybe we will see all bet records mysteriously wiped from 2012.
  13. He was asked if he had an opinion on it. He Said, 'no I don't' Of course, off camera he may also have been asked if he thought they should get it.
  14. It was misquoted in the Hun. The video clip and the written quote didn't match.
  15. It is written on the form Saty. Unless the players can't read or ASADA tampered with the forms in a mass conspiracy then that is what was asked. You are still yet to say why you don't trust them with a reasonable reason. They aren't perfect but they are a he'll of a lot closer than the AFL or any alternative.
  16. Here is a statement from ASADA'S website. Athletes must declare any substance used in the last seven days including any substances for which they have a current and valid Therapeutic Use Exemption. Not declaring use may affect results management and have adverse consequences for the athlete.
  17. Saty we have been through this before. The question is simple, what have you taken, it includes anything as what they are looking for is an explination of any anomalies in the test results in order to let the players off. there is no reason you would not tell ASADA about any thing you have outside of food as it actually covers you, it isnt use to ban you. In fact the only reason not to tell ASADA is if you know it I banned. hmmmmm
  18. Robbo presented an incredibly biased view without any basis in fact. My view is also not from following any pack, it is from someone who was once under the WADA code before ASADA even existed. I have an understanding of what is expected, what the rules are, and how the whole thing works. The bias spouted by much of the AFL media and the AFL itself is embarrassing misinformed rubbish. The AFL industry are decades behind the times on this and it shows. The whole anti WADA commentary is ridiculous in the extreme and is doing far more damage than good. The only thing that has stopped me from turning from the game is that the AFL actually respected the 12 month bans without too much fuss (although there was quite a bit). Much more and I was gone, no matter how good the future looks for the dees. Time for the AFL industry and it's supporters to grow the f up.
  19. unfortunately the code didn't allow for that then, it does now.
  20. that's where the likes of Watson are even more culpable.
  21. To a degree I agree. they are victims of trusting the wrong people. fact is though that they trusted the very people you are trained not to in an ASADA sense. As an athlete you are trained to trust no one but ASADA with the stress of what you take. Therefore they are also victims of their own poor judgement.
  22. The truth is that the AFL are very often behind the stance of the journos. very few are independent of the grasp and if you wish to keep your accreditation then you don't rock the boat.
  23. Robbo's bias used to be funny but I am beginning to worry about his mental state with the amount of Inna curate deluded bial he is spouting on this topic. I always thought Journos had to be vaguely intelligent, Robbo proves that isn't necessarily the case.
  24. semantics Saty. You know what I meant
  25. No, ASADA spent a long time putting together all the evidence that either existed or they had access to. Not really their fault if evidence they would like to have doesn't exist.
