Is there any chance Geelong can actually play the last round away from GMHBA stadium. They have played at GMHBA stadium in the last round every year since 2012 onwards. This 1 reason i believe there finals record has been crap since as they have too much of a soft kill.

How about looking into Carlton Tony Liberatore who was an assistant coach at the time basically admitted to tanking and not wanting to win. Funny about the timing of this article doesn't look like you have any confidence in your own team Essendon Robbo to win naturally.

It was a great year yeah it was a poor performance came from too far back to realistic challenge for the premiership this year. That St.kilda game cost us win that game we finish in the top 4 they should never have played Petty that day he wasn't ready. Just wish Garry Lyon would shut up i can't stand him. -

Can someone please tell Garry Lyon to shut up. We have been a basket case for so long now. Now that we are a good team again i would like us stay there. I don't care even if we somehow pinch this years premiership i wouldn't trade him. Why not try and have a successful era like Hawthorn etc. He says he he loves the club well he doesn't show it. I wish this guy would shut his mouth. If we somehow pinch this years premiership and he presents the premiership i will throw up.

There is one other scenario that is unlikely but possible. If Collingwood win & we win but Sydney & Hawthorn draw then we will finish 6th and play GWS at the MCG.

Lets just wait and see what happens when his team Carlton finally make the finals again lets see how much they celebrate when they win to Qualify for the finals it will be interesting to hear his thoughts then time will tell.

Geez calm down Overexaduration do we have another Key Forward waiting i don't think so right now Weidemann is not up to it. I personally think he is carrying something but once on the field your expected to perform. I don't know why they didn't rest him last week to be honest. I would moving on JKH. Why they continue to play JKH i have no idea he is not up to hit. If they would have played Kent instead as bad as we played we may have got over the line.

Can you believe Tony Jones on the Sunday Footy Show suggested that Melbourne vs Greater Western Sydney Match should be played on Friday night. I mean really just a 5 day break coming home from Perth he is a idiot.

Wayne Carey has compete lost it. So what Carlton have stuffed up there early picks previously. We stuffed up our picks quiet a few years ago but we got it right this time. Drafting Petracca, Brayshaw, Oliver etc. They just need to get it right this time this would be a huge mistake if Calton follow Wayne Carey's suggestion

They only get mentioned when they lose or have a bad game. Anytime they play well they get no credit whatsoever like other sides do when they bounce back.

Greg Swann says the AFL should feel obliged to assist struggling clubs with the aid of a priority pick. Funny isn't when we were a complete basket case he was totally against us getting a priority pick. This is about the 4th different year he has spoken about his club possibly getting a priority pick. How can you even talk about that in the middle of the year. At least when we asked for a priority pick it wasn't until the end of the season not in the middle of the year. Anyway Brisbane haven't been as bad as he claims yes there win-loss record is bad but they have been a chance of winning most games.

This is too much to give away you would have to be joking. I thought you were only allowed to give away your original 1st round picks for 2 years. If this is the deal that would mean 3 years in a row. We didn't have a first round pick in 2016 as we did a trade with Gold Coast in 2015 & then we wouldn't have a first round in 2017 or 2018. Yes we would get back a first round. But remember after the trade period last year the AFL admitted they stuffed up in allowing Hawthorn to trade there original first round selection to the Gold Coast for Jaegar O'Meara . They later said that shouldn't have been allowed as they traded there first pick in 2016 & they should have only been allowed to trade a first round selection that was given to them from another trade.

He is not a Key Defender. He Is a intercept mark. He is very good for that job. He plays more like Jeremy McGovern probably a little better at it.

Something is not right here. I smell a rat. Don't forget Jack Gunston won the best young Player several years ago at Adelaide & because he requested a trade back home they stripped that award off him. How come Jake Lever was told not to attend yet Charlie Cameron was there & he has requested a trade aswell yet he is contracted. Not sure what to make of all of this

Can Someone please explain to me what that free kick was paid for against Christian Salem just outside our 50m line in the last quarter with 13.32 left in the last quarter the score at the time was 11.11.77 to 12.14.86.Christian Salem did not have possession & was dragged of the ball & thrown to the ground over the boundary line then North grabbed the ball & the umpire blew his whistle & called advantage. How can it be advantage. Advantage is only called when a free kick is awarded if there is no free kick awarded they call play on. Christian Salem did not take possession of the ball he didn't throw it i have looked at this about 10 times & i can't work it out can someone please tell me what it was for.
