Pretty sure Billings won his group, so don't think that is a worry. Sounds like Clarry was trailing that group though, however I don't think from memory he's ever been a particularly good runner in the time trials anyway.

I think everyone should lay off Trac and when he gets that first touch round 1 I hope everyone gets up and claps him. Make him remember just how much he is loved at the Dees. It’s a supporters job to support.

It actually makes no sense that a retired players salary is in the salary cap. They are no longer playing, so why should that affect the ability to pay other players under the cap. Fair enough we have to pay him out of his contract, but just don’t understand the reasoning behind the cap issue
