TEAMS: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Freo is easily the best defence we have come up against (the last 2 weeks aside). It will be fascinating to see how we play. I don't think we can afford to be waste so many inside 50's this week. Lower your eyes and hit targets. Freo are almost full strength. How much will we miss Langdon? A lot is my guess. Especially without another proper winger on the other wing. Him, Salem and Harmes are all significant outs as they are all link men and involved in so many scoring chains. Time for Jordon and the like to really step up. Demons by 4 points

TEAMS: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Great to Bedford in the 22. He deserves a run of starts. Freoโs team looks strong on all lines. Probably the best defence we have come up against. Should be a cracking contest

Dumb sub rule even ruins the teams coming out

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
I totally agree with regarding player abuse and destructive criticism. No place for it. the only slight contradiction I was referring to was never abusing players and then stating your hatred for Essendon which is where Melk played most of his games. Tongue in cheek ๐ in general, game milestones mean a lot less to me when most of the games where played elsewhere. Might be just me

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
Slightly contradicting there WCW. I will celebrate Milkshakes 86th game for MFC on the weekend. The games for the cheats mean nothing to me. BTW I think the vom emoji are either for the poster suggesting Melk gets dropped or the idea of the club nursing a player to a milestone. I am one that think players should earn every game on merit, not gifted to them aside from exceptional circumstances (a club legend getting to 300 when the result does not matter) I don't have a problem with Melk, although I am disappointed he hasn't played better footy during his peak/older years as he showed great potential early. He is still the best kick in the team as he can do it on both sides. Just doesn't get the ball enough or pressure enough

Northern Territory Team
I like the idea of having an NT team. heavy focus on Indigenous players, that would outrun teams at home in sweltering humidity and heat But then the brain takes over and the population just isnt there

CHANGES: Rd 11 vs Fremantle
could happen. Melksham with 7 touches and 1 tackle, (and 1 goal) was not great. but we might be too inside mid heavy with Dunstan staying in, especially on the G against a quick team if it was me picking the team, I'd have Bedford in the 22 for Melk, Viney in for Dunstan

Kangaroos Hopping Mad after Triple Walk Out
I hear Tom Scullyโs old man is available if north are interested

Kangaroos Hopping Mad after Triple Walk Out
Honestly - what would fans prefer? being a mid table team under Scott for 10 years with no chance to win a flag or to bottom out and have a chance to be a great team and maybe win a flag? no way you end up with the list we have without bottoming out. Itโs painful for north but if they nail 3-4 draft picks along with TT, LDU, JHF they will be back

Didn't See That Coming (In a good way)
Great interview from Ryder. Will most likely enter his 18th season next year. I respect him a great deal. He was one of the few to hold the bombers to account and left due to the clubs lack of player welfare. He was concerned about the impact of the hundreds of injections might have on his unborn child

Rules confusion 'stand'
The worst part about this 'rule' is that it is only sometimes used. maybe 50% of the time around the ground the ump will yell stand and the other 50% there is nothing, so the bloke on the mark can move backwards if they like Also, this rule is set up to fail. it relies on the player on the mark hearing the umpire. picture 80K feral fans in a prelim, the ump yells stand from 20m away, you reckon it'll be heard? the bloke on the mark takes half a step backwards (which is allowed sometimes) and that 50m penalty could decide a game Don't get me wrong, i like the idea that you can't move sideways on the mark as it opens up play but it needs to a black and white rule or it will always cause issues. How about - when you are on the mark you can only move directly backwards (away from the player with the ball), any side to side or fwd movement will be a 50m penalty. no need for the ump to yell stand (which is bloody annoying while watching on tv)

NON-MFC: Round 10, 2022
Thank you for agreeing to give it a rest in the meantime we can deal with our exposed form of being 10-0

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Fair play to North, they did all they could. Were aggressive and pressured hard. Good for us to have these tests rather than a training run

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
1. We miss Viney for his mental toughness and driving standards 2. Dunstan has always been a poor kick, why are people surprised?
