I haven't watched or read any media on the hits, just watched the footage. The umm 'checks' as you call them, one was a bloke flying through the air and the other was clearly head high brutal hit. far worse than Buddys. "The checks were only problematic as the opponent was not in the right state to protect themselves"? that is the funniest thing I have ever heard! with a split second different timing or if Smith was not so big, Pickett could have knocked anyone out cold or worse. Buddy's was the only one where the ball was in dispute. The tall poppy syndrome is full on on this site. oh he's Buddy so he only gets a week. maybe we should look at our own baises as well.

i don’t want that either. if you isolate off the ball or late hits then it makes it easier. you could elbow a bloke with same action twice and depending on his position it could be a broken jaw or he could be right to play on. do we let one guy off for the same action? it’s an interesting discussion

I hear you, but can you honestly look at the two incidents without thinking of all the BS gradings and not think that Kozzi deserves more weeks than Buddy? The ball was in dispute with Buddy, he was on the ground. Kozzi, the ball was gone

we would be insane to challenge this finding. keeps it in the media for days and could (?) possible result in more weeks Impact looked high to me. Imagine a barrel chested Kozzi flying full pace into your chest, low impact? i dont think so The criteria should not be if the bloke is big and tough enough to get up straight away it should how hard to bump was.

Bombers will win the day but I back Mitchell to fare better than Scott in the long run. First year taking over a big club... don't overachieve. Rutten snuck into finals and then they expected top 4 and he was sacked. Logic doesn't come into it Mitchell will play kids, tinker with game plans and has already traded a lot of senior players (tank). will pick up high draft picks. when Hawks win 8-10 games next year it will be seen a success for him Meanwhile Scott will be under pressure
