Who's idea was it to put Ed on the presser? He is clearly not the most savvy media guy out there. Remember the 'all duck no dinner' debacle? Not blaming Ed, he is a lovely guy, was honest and wanted Simon to know he loves him. We should have used Max or Lever who would have answered in a way that respects Goody but also does not directly conflict with the clubs decision to make us look (more) foolish.

Depends if you want someone with experience or someone who has never done the job before Bottom clubs tend to sack coaches so the above is obviously skewed data Longmire would be the dream but I don't think we would be able to convince him to step into our mess

I had thought we should go an untried assistant but the mess the club and FD are in I think we need a savvy operator and experienced head. It is not just about coaching. Actually Head Coaches don’t do much coaching these days. It’s a manager role. Influence our direction, who to trade in, game style, manage assistants. I doubt Horse would come but he’d obviously be great.
