mentally unhinged? many players choose loyalty, mateship, chance of success etc over extra money and or going home. clubs have to offer overs to tempt players away Kozzi or Rivers would get offered well over 200k to go home but they are part of something. lets just say every situation is different hey?
well he’s played about three good games as a fwd but with great potential so i could only see his value going up

yeah article states 192cm and 90kg. which is short and stickup than the likes of Jefferson. Could make an impact earlier in theory.
if a player makes a decision based on more money it’s not a go home factor issue and that’s fine. If they make a career defining decision due to a city being busy with traffic or too hectic well that’s pretty astounding. If i got paid big money to live away with a new ‘family’ of 45 mates to play footy i’d think i’m the luckiest bloke in the world.
If a player knows his body isn’t up to playing AFL footy he should retire and the club would compensate him. If Brown really thinks he can jump and compete next year then ok but the fact he couldnt get right for a final suggests he’s done. And we’ve looked after T Mac for 12 years through his wild inconsistency and injuries. He should have honest chats with the doctors and look himself in the mirror. They are both premiership players but footy is a brutal game. If we had their salaries off our books we could make a big play in the trade period potentially
totally normal to miss your home but for professional athletes in their 20’s earning big money that can visit home multiple times per year for free it’s truely bizarre that some AFL players dictate their career path based on missing home
If Petty stays fit and plays fwd all year with JVR and Fritsch we are a serious chance at a flag. but yeah we should trade him. Fullerton and JVR will not win us a flag and yes i’m unfortunately assuming t Mac and Brown are too injury riddled to play 20 games plus

if WC trade pick 1 it’ll be north that get it. they’ve offered 4 picks and been rejected. they end up include pick 3 in the batch and get the deal done

zero contradiction. A bloke like Dunstan would have come in as he was killing it at VFL level. Schache was poor even when we were desperate for talls. even T Mac on half a leg the coaching staff had more faith in youre exhausting to post with but because you are so accusatory and usually wrong it’s hard not to reply
