Jake is the only one that keeps himself out. He played so many 4-7 possession games over the last few years with very little impact, then had a purple patch late last year. If he can maintain focus and intensity for 4 quarters he is one of the first picked as he is so skilled. That is why he frustrates me so much. He kicks on his left better than most of the team on their preferred foot. Maybe defensive fwd is a way to get him into games? He does that well

I personally wouldn't move T Mac as he is playing well and is a confidence player and I wouldn't mess with that. but maybe they will. We were too tall last week imo so I think one less tall and someone like Melksham to provide a marking target would work. Turner, JVR, Fritsch, Melk is a decent set up. i’m trying to imagine a marking contest with players running and jumping at the ball while their knees are not up, and i can’t imagine it. it’s mechanical. to jump high the knee comes up. can’t see how anyone could implement a rule change around this.
