Reverse Goals/Behinds Ladder
I prefer this ladder.

Opinions are like buttholes. Nevertheless, Fremantle can have him, he’s not even that good.

AFLX 3.0
Rance, Dangerfield and Fyfe will be spewing.

Coaches Association Player of the Year
Salem is a reliable, steady hand. He’s the grey man who almost goes entirely unnoticed. He should be in our top four B&F. The leaderboard can be found here: https://www.aflcoaches.com.au/awards/the-aflca-champion-player-of-the-year-award/leaderboard/2019/20190118#leaderboard

Liam Jurrah 2019
What’s the point in speculating who’s to blame and whether or not MFC contributed to his off field issues? We know some of the facts and it’s a sad story. It’s good to see him back playing footy and looking happy. His brother was playing for the opposition.

Pruess...VFL is his spot
He’s still learning (from the best) and just needs time.

The ball fell straight to him, what should he have done, let it hit him on his face and roll off? To dispose of the ball with a handball he would have had to (as he did) pull it in closer towards himself to execute it. However, before he could dispose of it, West Coast players jumped on the ball and held it in. It was a terrible call by the umpire.- POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles
Watched a bit of the last quarter, wish I hadn’t. Preuss-less.- GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles
ANB you spud straight to the opposition. Meh, time to go for a walk and get a gelato. Not wasting family time on a Sunday with typical Melbourne trash.- GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles
The curtain raiser is far more enjoyable than any other game I’ve watched this year.- From Prelim To Wooden Spoon?
Gold Coast don’t count as a real team.- From Prelim To Wooden Spoon?
A steady rebuild under Roos was completely undone in less than a season. Those who agree that we’ll be ‘fine’ next season, apart from hope, what exactly is that being based on? We’re back to square one. I’m not ‘slashing my wrists’ (horrible phrase by the way), just a realist who’s seen it all before and have seen nothing to suggest we’ll turn it all around by early next season.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
We’ve had 360mm since the start of the year. 212mm in June and 72 for this month and counting. But yes, Melbourne has still had a hell of a lot less. https://www.watercorporation.com.au/water-supply/rainfall-and-dams/rainfall The soil is a hell of a lot sandier here, perhaps the drainage is better making the surface harder? Or maybe not, I have no idea.- Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti
Not consistent enough for mine at the present, goes missing against the better teams too often. If he can work on this he’ll be a gun. Surely we have the cap space, Essendon would want a first round pick and a player though. Gut feeling and nothing else tells me he is Essendon through and through.- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Apparently he’s a midfielder but he’s played off the half-back in the games I’ve seen of him play in this season.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
Plays for Fremantle now so I don’t care all that much, injuries are a part of professional sport. At least he’s still getting paid (a lot).- The AFL wants to reduce tackling
The game’s being butchered by Gil, Hocking and Co. I wonder what their endgame is? (No Marvel pun intended). IMO there was nothing wrong with the game a few years ago, the constant tinkering of the rules since then has turned it into an almost unwatchable mess. Looking at the bigger picture and not the outcome of each individual rule change, what are they hoping to achieve overall from all of these changes? Do they think the competition will become more even? Are they hoping it will appeal more to an international audience?- Dermie: Melbourne are downhill skiers
I wish we were downhill skiers.- PREGAME: Rd 18 vs West Coast Eagles
I don’t think they really care anymore either.- The AFL wants to reduce tackling
"The AFL is examining the issue of excessive tackling, with football boss Steve Hocking saying the AFL wants to reduce the amount of tackling in the game." Hocking said that tackling had become ‘‘a feature’’ of the game and that the AFL wanted to see the number of tackles reduced, although he did not specify the desired number. ‘‘I have a very strong view on that. It has become a feature of our game and all the stuff that we’re analysing is how to get a balance back in that so that it’s not a feature of the game." Until Gil is gone I think I’m pretty much done with the AFL, is it even Aussie Rules anymore? https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/afl-racing-to-build-new-review-centre-for-finals-20190717-p5284z.html#comments- Sam Weideman
- Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
We’d get fined for tanking but not tanking if we were to ‘rest’ Brayshaw now.- Petracca's set shot kicking
Trac’s getting better every week, including his set shots. He was one of our best players and managed to break through Bulldogs players on numerous occasions. Instead of blaming him for the loss, praise him for assisting with keeping us in the game.- GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Western Bulldogs
