Insanely premature to make this call off the back of one game, particularly given he’s struggled (IMO) previously.
Yep - agree.Talk in 12 months

I saw that too. Almost like Dusty was explaining to McVee how to cover the territory better. Helping a first year player. I was impressed by that.
Yes that’s how l read it too.Not like Dusty was in his face ,
laughing at him.

Still a bit unclear on why Marlion Pickett is allowed to play matches right now. Will be very strange if he’s found guilty.
Irrelevant comment.And he’s innocent

I spoke to Jake Melksham and congratulated him on his 100th game with Melbourne.I said the club didn’t acknowledge it on their website.Jake said they probably didn’t know.If this is the case l believe it is appalling.

What I think will happen:
JvR in - Fritsch out for season by the sounds of it.
Woey in - love him but Harmes too many mistakes
What I would like to see:
Smith to permanent sub, flexible to play different positions - Melksham out.
Then either:
Petty forward to actually really see if the experiment thing will work and Tommo in.
OR
Give Schache a run of games with JvR, BBB as forward talls.
Agree- especially about Smith. He is flexible - and smart

Agree with you...and they need to let Kossie play footy, not just play defend. Lesser players can play that role.
I would look at Bowey forward or on a wing. We need someone with smarts who has good depth & hits targets with his kicks, players or goals.
Too many role players forward of centre is indeed the wrong mix.
Salem instead of Bowey

I thought he was that big road train parked on the side of the field.
Why pick on Joel? He was as “good “ as the rest of the forwards. He had a go.

Hard to pick against St Kilda next week. They kicked 12.13 this week : that's a goal ratio of almost 50pc! We kicked 5.15 - a goal ratio of 25 pc. Twice as good good as us. Hard to ignore.
Yes but the conditions were 100% different

Rain on the way to Alice - could be a very wet game.

The Geelong coach was Casey coach in the 2022 Grannny - correct?

If you are staying at one of the campgrounds south of the gap, we should have a few at the Alice Springs Brewery, a popular local…
Consider a day trip without trailer to Chmabers Pllar, or to the East Mac’s.
Another day trip without the trailer would be palm valley.
Returning home, I would strongly suggest a trip to the West Mac’s, a stunning place, stay at Glen Helen the drive the Mereenie loop to Kings Canyon, doing the hike around the canyon.
Both of these places are brilliant and the trailer should have no issues with the loop.
From the canyon, head to Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa for a few days before heading back south.
Just a few suggestions for you, there’s a heap you can do out here, just depends on your timeframe.
You must book Ulara CP in advance. Hermans berg is interesting

I thought l had read somewhere , that Clarrie was due to get out of hospital on Sunday.
There is nothing on the club website about him.
Any thoughts?

Joel Smith has always had the attributes of a good player. Injuries, panic related errors and lack of a clear role have hurt him. Would definitely have been a Premiership Dee if not for the injury. Maturity and confidence can be a force in football and Smith is ready to make his mark for a bit. Wont last forever but he will be valuable. Shaun Grigg sort of valuable.
Joel is a premiership player - for Casey
