  1. He has a groin issue mate. Was reported on here after it happened. Was confirmed to me. I stand by it. I can’t believe how some people on here like to argue over semantics.
  2. Just passing on what I heard. Please put me on ignore. Why don't you just focus on loitering behind the players' tent after training and sending them invasive posts on their private Instagram accounts that they never respond to.
  3. Hey mate, I’m just a supporter who was given some info about an injury. I wasn’t told to keep it in-house or under wraps. I’d love you to show me where you’ve gave me the same feedback last year??? Don’t worry. I won’t share anything on here anymore. I will leave all club news to you Saty, considering you are best friends with all the playing group.
  4. The bandage he was wearing covered his upper thigh/ groin area. The area he strained actually reaches down into his upper thigh.
  5. Take it to the bank. It was sustained at training last week. Will not play Thursday and will be off legs all week. The club is hopeful he will be ready for Round 1.
  6. He has done his groin.
  7. Neal-Bullen gave his groin a tweak last week. Will not play Thursday and is racing the clock to play round 1.
  8. I reckon you can add ANB to this list. He'll be touch and go for round 1.
  9. I too enjoyed the new format. The players were very good with their time and were certainly happy to give you a glimpse into the inner sanctum. The camaraderie between the players was clearly evident. They all love Goody. "Elite at relationships" is how he was described by one player, which is certainly not how the majority were describing their last coach.
  10. From training:No LewisHarley Balic looked good around stoppages and used the ball cleverly.Nathan Jones a standout - will continue to play more an outside role this year.Jack Viney moving well, both laterally and straight line. Did a truckload of running, kicking over distance with both feet. Very confident he’ll play round 1. Quick ball movement the obvious game plan. Didn’t always come off but will be hard to counter when it does. Dean Kent not dead and buried yet. Won a heap of ball and moved well. Dom Tyson wasn’t sure if he did his good calf or not, but definitely had awareness in it. Clarry Oliver definitely instructed to kick the ball more and wasn’t always looking to give off by hand. He always make good decisions. Justin Plapp was the man in charge today. Goody patrolled the sidelines with Brendan McCartney offering advice and encouragement to players. Oskar Baker is a dasher. Christian Salem looked a class above with ball in hand. He’s slimmed right down and looks fit. Many of the Casey boys acquitted themselves well and took it right up to the Demon players. It was funny watching Jones run past players and not know their names.
  11. I was over the far side at Casey yesterday watching the rehab group. (Viney, Tyson and Weideman) I was literally 2 m away. Dom was doing some fartlek running when he pulled up on the far side of the ground. He walked back to Crossy and said 'I felt something in my good calf' and pointed high up in the right calf. So Crossy asked him if he pinged it and Dom said no, but he definitely had awareness. They did some massage and a few more run throughs on it and then decided to send him inside. I don't think it is too bad at all. I watched JV very closely yesterday. He kicked over distance off both feet. He did straight line and lateral running, some bumping and ground ball drills and a lot of interval running around the boundary. Obviously conditioning may be an issue but unless he has a setback I'd say there's no way he's missing round 1.
  12. Ollie has been told to play the game by his manager. Nothing surer he will be at Port next year.
  13. Great win girls! 4 goals from free kicks to the orange mob. I see the AFL love fest is alive at all levels of footy.
  14. It appears the club does read Demonland. They'll be having an open training session at Casey on the 17th Feb. A Saturday!!!
  15. Is there any update on Trac’s knee?
  16. I can understand frustration on this point, but surely it's much more important that both parties are comfortable on signing off on what is a large money deal?
  17. Why does one feel the need to start a thread to tell all and sundry that we'll finish 10th??? #lookatmelookatme
  18. I attended yesterday's craft session, as they call it. The music was blaring in what was perfect conditions. Some things that stood out to me: -Dom Tyson looks fit and was second to ANB in the interval running at the end of the session -Bernie looks 10 years younger and is covering the ground as well as he ever has -Salem was getting his hands on the footy a lot at the stoppage drills. He, Dom and Clarry were the standouts here -The coaches support Trac verbally during the running drill at the end. Twig Rawlings really revved CP5 up to give it everything -Charlie Spargo has clean hands, moves very well and looks a good user. Harry Petty has an unusual gait and looks ungainly. Oskar moves well and is a penetrating kick, but obviously his conditioning is a fair way off the others at the moment -Pedo looks lean and is covering the ground well -Wags and Hunty got to do a fun drill. The had to sit under high balls inside our defensive 50 and take a ride on Jade Rawlings' back and take the grab. Poor old Jade played the step ladder here -Gawny is very verbal and gave a lot of instruction to the on-ballers. Benny Matthews really drives Nut Harmes a lot of instruction at these drills -I enjoyed watching Max Rooke working with the small forwards v the small defenders. There was great intent here, and Dean Kent looked to be relishing being back with the main group. -Post session, I watched Billy, Salem and Clarry stay out and do some touch work, Corey Maynard do some stuff with the specialist coaches and Charlie Spargo do some grappling with a phys eder.
  19. People assume that because we should've made finals this year the natural progression is to make them next year. Take nothing for granted in this competition. 10 sides who missed out this year will be busting their boilers to get there next year. Who's to say an injury ravaged Hawthorn or Collingwood won't jump ahead of us next year if things don't go our way? I'd be rapt to see September action next year after so many years of pus.
  20. Michael Hibberd not played International Rules tonight due to a very minor calf strain.
  21. Jonsey actually took part in the City to Surf Fun Run last Sunday. He walked the 5 km with his family. I'm tipping there's no way this happens if he had even the slightest of calf complaints.
  22. He's a one paced, nuggetty onballer. Hasn't shown enough at Development level to suggest he'll be a good VFL player, lit alone an AFL one.
  23. I get what you’re saying. I just think #4 has been a hugely marketable number for the club. Put Lever in it and it will continue to be so.
