Some losses really get under your skin - and this is one of them. By all criteria we should of won. It was that lack of ruthlessness that Goodwin always bangs on about that was the major factor. Our backs lost concentration and were way too loose. To compound the aggravation it is the Filth that has the wood on us. Last night was a real downer.

The filth are mentally stronger than us and I am as mad as hell. We should have had them put away by half time but bad kicking kept them in it. Max should not have missed those easy set shots and Melksham didn’t make the most of his opportunities. Too many players play a good quarter and then disappear. Hope they are having a good hard look at themselves because tonight was unacceptable.

Harmes and Bowza must come in

I wonder if it is the right decision to take Gus out of the backline. Worst game I have seen Petty play and Hibberd was atrocious. Pickett was very selfish and undisciplined. They should have found an excuse to use Harmes - all the other teams use their sub so I don’t understand why we don’t. We seem incapable of playing 4 quarters and constantly give up good leads. Alarm bells are ringing.

2 bad misses and 1 charity to them - should be well ahead. Viney and Gus awesome. Nibbler still very ordinary
