Just allows us to be more agressive/attacking at centre bounces & stoppages. Rather than being reactive to the opposition we can now go back to being aggressive & attack from the middle. It'll also allow us to use the players off the back of the square more attackingly knowing Max will win more hit outs then not

Anyone found the cheap tickets at etihad like we had earlier in the year ?

I wouldn't play him in Perth.. Can't be good for a big bloke to sit on a plane for 3.5 hours and again on the way back on a 6 day break.. Leave him for the Sydney game. West coasts rucks aren't too scary without nicnat. Anyway on to tomorrows game. Really not sure what to expect.. We've won 4 of our last 6 they have lost 4 of their last 6 so we have the form but they are the reigning premiers and their best is as good as anyones.. However their strength is their contested footy but that's become one of our strengths so I'm tipping whichever team shows up and turns the heat on will win the game.. Which has me worried with the lapses we've had, we can't afford them against sides like the Dogs...

Not to put a dampener on a great win yesterday & sitting nicely in 6th spot BUT does anyone else think Bern is cooked ? He played well running with Sloane a few weeks ago but he's seemed to have lost a yard of pace, he's decision making & execution is horrible lately.. That simple chip kick that he missed resulting in a goal, the little paddle backwards late in the game in defensive 50.. Yeah in isolation they are only a couple of errors but I'm finding myself nervous when he goes near the ball now which was usuall the complete opposite, I wouldn't be suprised if he is out of the best 22 come seasons end

Don't... Those 3 numbers are embedded in my mind!

FWIW (very little) did a ladder predictor and had our season pan out as follows Elimination Final Vs Richmond MCG - Win Semi Final Vs Geelong MCG - Win Preliminary Final Vs Adelaide AO - Win Grand Final Vs GWS - Win Simple

Usually I'm pretty pessimistic about the Dees but pretty confident we will get the job done tomorrow.. People should not be fooled by collingwoods recent record, they've beaten Hawthorn, Brisbane & Fremantle (their best win albeit in Perth but they just got smacked by the bottom side). Collingwooe are still an average side. Great midfield, ordinary forward line & horrible backline. We simply HAVE to win if we are serious about making the 8. The ladder has opened up for us a bit & a shot at 6th is on offer aswell as keeping Essendon at bay. Dees by 21

The hard bit is going to be the amount of 6 day breaks we have, this section is brutal: Round 12 Collingwood 6 day break Round 13 W. Bulldogs 6 day break Round 14 West coast (In perth) 6 day break Round 15 Sydney This stretch here will define our season

I've had a good read on them the last month but I have absolutely no idea what to expect today, I wouldn't be surprised by a 10 goal win or a loss.

This sounds like a stupid question but what time does the game start ? I swear I saw it was 5:05pm on the afl live app but the footy apps say 4:35pm & the afl site says 4:05.. I'm guessing it's 4:35pm our time & 4:05pm local time ?

Heres a link to their one anyway... http://m.goldcoastfc.com.au/news/2017-05-22/individual-totems-represent-suns-indigenous-players

I don't know how to post an image but I have one with them side by side & it's not ideal

Has anyone seen Gold coast indigenous jumper.. It's predominantly red, going to be fun watching!

Their saying round 13 vs the dogs... Was hopeful it would be Queens Birthday

Bit dramatic... He missed a large chunk of the pre season which never helps any player. He was probably in our best 2 or 3 players against Geelong in round 3.. He's played 56 games, yes he is frustrating as hell & can be lazy but I'm not writing him off after last week.. He like the side need to close the gap between their best & worst because the gap is drastic
-
He did too.. I knew whatever he got was unders, I thought he should have got 2 weeks
-
Salem deserves a week but it's the fact Scott Thompson did an almost identical act earlier in the year and got a fine... There is no consistency whatsoever. Cotchin punches someone in the jaw & it's rated as careless not intentional so why's Salems intentional ? The AFL needs to do something at the end of this year, scrap the ticking the boxes & just look at an incident & say that deserves X about of weeks... Not rocket science Cunnington should have got a week.

Not singling you out Demon1858 but we go through this every year on here about this. There is a difference between Alice Springs & Darwin... It will be fine & 28 in Alice on Saturday. It's Darwin that's humid & slippery, just thought I'd throw it out their before everyone goes on about it
-
I wouldn't be against giving Mitch King a run.. He's had a few games back now & was in the best for Casey on the weekend, my one concern is his ability to run out a game but playing him will allow Tmac to return to defence & allow us to play Pedersen more forward which we need a marking option up forward
-
I have picked the last 3 weeks.. Knew we'd lose to Hawthorn, beat Adelaide & lose to North.. I'm not in the slightest suprised by today.. I'm so fkn over it though
