Just like last week we owe these pricks, after 7 of the previous 13 wins being over 50 points including 2 100+... I've sat through all those floggings & could only dream of a day we'd flip the ledger in our favour & sink the boots into them while their down, just like they've done to us so many times. C'mon dees be ruthless.
-
Yes they do... The 3 left out are ALWAYS from the extended bench. The only way a player from the starting 18 misses after the named sides is through injury
-
To quote Brendan McCartney at this mornings training "best they've looked all year, loved the intensity" lets hope they haven't spent it all at training
-
I remember playing this on PC... You could shrink the opposition to midgets, still get a laugh at them taking a hanger over a full sized player
-
I re-watched the 2nd half last night & ANB was better in the 2nd half then I thought being at the ground. He had a hand in a couple of goals & made some smart decisions like that chip back to Hannan (could have blazed away) if it comes down to one of ANB or JKH to make way it has to be JKH.. I am even more dubious on his spot in the side then before I watched the replay...

Tyson may have become a victim of himself, he burst onto the scene for us in his first year 2014 & really hasn't matched that form consistently. We have seen him dominate games here & there but I'd have thought by his 4th season with us he would be pushing to A grade status, injuries have not helpt. I still think he'll be a good player for the football club
-
Not sure which of the above is worse here... Tmac was in our best half dozen, played a key role roaming the ground.. And white ? If he gets another game again this club has gone backwards
-
In: Kent, Hogan(if ready) Out: JKH, ANB(if Hogans right)
-
Thought Vince was a lot better moving into the midfield in the 2nd half. It's were he should have been playing all along & should stay there.
-
6- Lewis 5- Watts 4- T McDonald 3- Pedersen 2- Petracca 1 - Oliver
-
I have been calling for him to be in the side since round 3.. I love him, did more than what Spencer would have I'd think
-
Reckon this game goes one or two ways.. Whatever plan the coaches have come up with without a ruck & key forwards works & we get some reward for the constant inside 50s we've been having or it doesn't work & it all turns to [censored] & they roll us. Either team by 6 goals
-
Sounds like Gawn is progressing nicely, only 8-10 away & Misson says he will run this weekend Melbourne injury list: round six Angus Brayshaw (concussion) – 1 week Colin Garland (knee) – season Max Gawn (hamstring) – 8-10 weeks Pat McKenna (hamstring) – 6 weeks Christian Petracca (knee) – available Joel Smith (shoulder) – 8-10 weeks Tim Smith (lung) – TBC Jake Spencer (shoulder) – 6-7 weeks Aaron vandenBerg (heel) – 8 weeks

Would not be surprised to see Tom McDonald go forward.. He has struggled on Daniher in the past & isn't in the greatest of form. I think Frost is a better match up for Daniher anyway, & Oscar goes to Hooker.
-
Just occurred to me... If those [censored]$ can beat us with a makeshift side 12 months ago, why can't we beat them without our first 2 rucks & full forward. We owe them big time
-
They also have Hooker
-
Vandenberg put onto the LTI.. Doesn't look like we'll see him for awhile
-
With Hogan out now Watts has to play permenant forward but I still think Goody likes Watts in the ruck. I'm now leaning to Oscar in & Frost being the #1 ruck meaning Pedersen can play predominant ruck. We aren't going to win the ruck so why rob our forward line of Watts or Pedersen when neither will be any better than frost. I'd be going with IN: OMac, Lewis, Pedersen, (Kent)* OUT: Spencer, Hogan, Smith, (JKH)* * I want this change & think Kent is needed for more fire power but for some reason Goodwin rates JKH I think so will give him another go...

Love Nev.. Quiet, unassuming, goes about his business week in week out, knows his game inside & out. One of the best small defenders in the comp (although it goes unnoticed by everyone except our fans). Easy thing is for people to say "Roos turned him around" Nev still had to put in the work & rebuild his game as a defender.. He never makes a bad decision or rarely losses a 1 on 1.. Congrats

Watched his progression closely over the last 12 months & he has really developed. His speed off half back with hunt is something that we could use.. I've always thought it would be nice to get him down here with his brother but at what cost ?

http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/191680228699?_mwBanner=1 Try this CD. I had it years ago & from memory the slow version I mentioned above was on there. I'm sure someone on this forum would have the CD & be able to tell you if it's on there.

There was a version at the start of the 1998 "Hotter than hell" season video which would be a good one but who & where it came from I have no idea.
-
Surely surely Pedersen finally comes in... I've only been saying it for 3 weeks & now Goodwin will be forced to play him. Problem is the main reason I wanted him in was to leave Watts forward which wont change now that Watts will be forced to still be the back up.. Only other option is to bring in Oscar & play Frost/Pedersen as the rucks & leave Watts forward, we just need a permanent 2nd key forward to help Hogan out & provide another target
-
Anyone commenting saying is there a problem.. Are any of you under the age of 40 & been in a night club ? I'm sure if you had you'd realise by his facial expressions he MAY have taken something a lot worse than having a harmless dart
-
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this on here, I'm sure they have but the midfield group led by our 2 skippers have a lot to answer for in that final term... How many times did Nankervis flip the ball out the back into the corridor at a stoppage, only for Richmond to swoop on the uncontested ball.. After the 2nd time you'd think you would make an adjustment.. This is a prime example of our lack of leadership. Couldn't imagine it happening with Lewis in the side
