Alright the season is only a couple of weeks away & I'm getting excited... I'm going to kick off with some season predictions. AFC East Pats AFC West Cheifs AFC North Bengals AFC South Colts NFC East Giants NFC West Cardinals NFC North Packers NFC South Panthers Wild Card- Raiders, Steelers, Vikings, Seahawks Superbowl - Packers MVP - Aaron Rodgers Passing Yards- Drew Brees Receiving Yards- Julio Jones Rushing Yards- Todd Gurley

Flicked over to ESPN to have a look at the Hall of Fame game and see the games been cancelled due to field condition... Wouldn't see that too often!!

Seems the young bloke has some issues... Strange his just dropped off the radar, you'd think someone would have raised the alarm before now. Dwight Freeney signed a one year deal with the Falcons, heres hoping he can improve our dreadful pass rush... Although not good to rely on a 36 year old.

No suprises there really is there... Surely Goff will be the #1 when they release the first depth chart & given first crack at training camp & pre season games ?

Just read that officially the only Gamepass package avaliable this season is the full package at $260.. Previous years I have just got the Falcons games for around $130. Seems like I'll have to pay the $260 for the full package if I want to watch Falcons games. You do get all games & all playoffs but I wont watch many other games & playoffs are free on fox & 7mate so seems $260 is a rip off!

Had a look at gamepass to see what the pricing was & seems as though there is only the full package available... I cant remember in previous years if the individual team packages come closer to pre season or not.. Im not to keen on paying $260 to watch Falcons games, I wouldnt get much time to watch any of the other stuff

Agreed, hanging out for the season to start. Only 7 weeks till the first preseason game... Even if their preseason is rubbish!

What do you think of Foles holding out of OTA's Gorgoroth ? Obviously with Goff coming in he knows he'll most likely be the back up but surely you get to training and work hard to fight for the spot not just sook it up and look elsewhere. Seems like he could be headed to the Jets if Fitzpatrick doesn't come to an agreement

Hayne finished in the NFL.. I was never convinced he would make it, typical media & uneducated people got carried away with his pre season form against nobodies.. Good on him for having a crack but looks like he got in befor the 49ers didn't bring him back. At least 7mate will show decent games this year!

It seems like that the NFL have a good depth of talent pool.. Guessing the huge population in the US means there's a deeper pool but its surprising how many players I watch and think "gee where'd he come from ?" Only to look him up and see he was an undrafted free agent or a 4-7th round pick!

Good on him! 6ft 4, 229 pounds & runs 40 yard dash in 4.43 seconds... That's some kind of athlete, be interesting to follow his progress. Falcons probably grabbed Keanu Neale a bit early at pick 17 but he wouldn't have been there by there 2nd round. Thought they'd go with a LB like Darren Lee but safety is a spot they needed to address also. Seems like they've gone for Quinn's "fast & physical" style of play with the players they've picked. Read a few articles saying his trying to create his on Legion of Boom.. See how that pans out. Suprised we didn't take a QB, they got Matt Schuab to back up Matt Ryan but thought they might think long term and pick one up. I'm already hanging out for the season!

When was the last 3 win streak...2006 ? Although don't expect a win next week. "Home" game at etihad makes me sick, if it was at the G different story!

Love the NFL trade & free agency period. Expect the unexpected and see some ridiculous amounts of money been thrown around! Osweiler leaving the Broncos was a shock, seemed a foregone conclusion he'd slip in after Manning.. Olivier Vernon gets biggest pay deal in DE history!

Just watched the 30 for 30 on the Bears 1985 season.. Awesome doco! Only problem was the sound in the last 5-6 minutes went out on the clip i watched through YouTube which seemed pretty emotional viewing so wouldn't recommend watching that version.. If anyone finds another version, post the link so I can watch the last 5 minutes with sound ??

Just watched the highlights for the first time since watching it live... Anyone see Cam Newton effort on that Von Miller forced fumble ? He went to dive after it and then pulled out of the contest so to speak. I know quarterbacks aren't ment to be in and under but when your down 16-10 deep in opposition territory surely you dive on that ball no matter what. Seemed a pretty soft effort to me

Thought if Denver were to win it would be on the back of there D.. Good on them tho, I personally didn't think they'd get there. Surely that's the end of Peyton! Not good for me & my Falcons that the Pathers come back with a vengeance next year!

Panthers 27 - Broncos 20 We all think the same really... If the Broncos defense shows up like the AFCC game then they are a real chance. Panthers have been getting off to fast starts all year so will be interesting to see if they can get the jump early, their 2nd halves have been fairly average lately. Anyone else taken the day off Monday ? I couldn't stand not been able to watch it live! Also, who is everyone barracking for ? I'm a bit torn, don't really want a divison rival to win it but I would like to see a new team take it out... Don't think I can cheer for a div rival

I think he Panthers are the better side on both sides of the ball... Broncos D is on fire, the way Miller & Ware are going they are more than more capable of causing Newton some problems... But I think the Panthers have more options on offense. Surely this will be Peyton's swansong ? In the end I think it'll come down to the Broncos D vs Cam & the Panthers Offense because I reckon the Panthers D can hold Peyton & the offense

Happy to see Brady & the Pats miss out... Denvers D is unreal, from the highlights I saw looked as though Brady was under pressure all day. Combine Denvers Defense and the Pats poor O-Line the result isn't suprising.. Although I think we all tipped the Pats haha. The Panthers offense just keep on putting up points and the defense keep on turning the ball over. Where do the Cards go with Palmer from here ? 4 INT's & 2 fumbles, not good enough for a QB of his experience. He was poor last week too... He might just be one of those players not up to the big stage. Now onto the SB, thankfully I've taken the day off and heading to a SB party
