I don't care who is dropped but it's time to have a look at the rest of the list.. Play Tynan, Davis and Barry. As well as blease and Straus.. Daveys is finished.. Brynes won't be around next year.. You can't play Spencer Gawn and Fitzpatrick.. On form Spencer was better than Gawn.. So out Gawn in Dawes.. They have to look forward to next year.. Because the likes above deserve a look to see if they can cut it or be cut.. No point them sitting on the list for another year if know one knows what they can do.. Thoughts?

If Melb are to win. We need Garland and Terlich back. Drop Davey for Magner! Drop Kent Brynes for Barry and Taggert or tynan!

I think that Neil Craig wouldn't be the worst option to coach the Demons. But for him to have any chance of getting the job, he has to win the next three in a row. All very winnable games. North are fragile in the mind, GWS are a rabble and the Gold Coast are a 50/50. However, if we beat North that would be the catalyst and would create lots of momentum for Craig to coach the Dees. Especially given what cattle he has. Thoughts?

What I am getting at RobbieF is that, we have had our chances trying to pick the best talent in the draft.. And after so much access [censored] it up all the time.. Our 200 + players always come left of field.. Ie our last good captain James McDonald came off a rookie list! Why we are not getting games into a ready made Magner is beyond me!!

No because our best players have come from higher picks, Terlich.. Jones.. Clisby.. Guy Rigoni etc no expectation means the players come on with no pressure!

I'll be there, because its times like now that make the good times so good. My old man used to sit with his old man in the 80s when we were hopeless.. And Barrassi used to walk past them every home game and say g'day because they were there every week.. Win lose or draw.. Players and admin come and go but supporters always stay.. It's sad but when your team is no good and they actually do put it together and beat anyone there is no better feeling.. Ie beating Brisbane in 08 when Miller stood up in the last quarter, or last year when we stumbled across the line against Essendon.. Those wins felt as good as when we beat Carlton in the finals in 2000 (was only 14) and those memories are as vivid as yesterday. Go dees.

Last year I sat infront of a couple of dees fans in the members, who were calling for Moloney to be traded.. The same fans were screaming like school girls over a Viney handball. My opinion is that had Neeld embraced and spoke to the senior group instead of putting them all on notice after a season consisting of 8 wins (something he still hasn't accomplished in a year and a half) We would still have Moloney and Rivers and some exp heads able to guide the likes of viney and Tmac on the field.. Moloney was a gun, and when Neeld [censored] in his face and made a kid who hasn't played more games than Moloney has had Brownlow votes as if you wouldn't buy in. It was a lack of respect to senior players, had it been local footy it would of been a mass exodus mid year! If Melbourne were a smart club, they'd still have Bruce, Moloney, Junior McDonald, still leading the way.. But like always no respect is shown to senior players..
